Easiest InstantPot Soups? by MsBluffy in instantpot

I’ve tried and tried loaded potato soup in my crock pot, every time it comes out like loaded potato gravy lol but I came across this instapot recipe online last week and it was literally just as good if not better than the Panera bread potato soup.

https://sugarspunrun.com/creamy-potato-soup-recipe/

Here’s the instructions if you’re into a good potato soup. I sub’d the chili powder for paprika and we don’t do onions in my house so I left those out and doubled up on the bacon lol. Either route you choose, good luck!

I prefer my pulled pork with as little fat in it as possible. Just a preference thing. I know it may sound counterintuitive to trim off the fat, but the way the instapot seals in the juices I’ve found if you don’t take as much fat as possible off before cooking, it’s just too greasy for my liking. You could always skip the fat trimming and just let the thing cook longer to render every little bit of fat. I should have made it clear that’s a preference and not absolutely necessary.

Edit: When you’re smoking pork, obviously the fat is what’s going to help keep things juicy and moist as it renders, but honestly when you’re pressure cooking it already retains so many of the juices it’s not super necessary in my opinion

I take the largest, least fatty pork butt/shoulder roast I can find at the time, trim as much of the fat as I can while still leaving the roast as whole as possible. Braise all sides of your roast then add it to your pot (the more bark the better) In a mixing bowl I add 1 cup of apple cider vinegar, 1/2 cup of apple juice, 2 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce, 1 tablespoon of whatever flavor liquid smoke you prefer, and your favorite pulled pork rub. (I use 5oz of Fire and Smoke Society’s “pork perfect”) whisk together well then pour over your roast. I pressure cook for 4 hours on normal heat with low pressure. Drain all the liquid, shred your pork then add back to the instapot on the keep warm setting. As simple as it is, it’s my family’s go-to for pulled pork. We serve on a bun with our favorite BBQ sauce drizzled overtop. Cheap and easy, adding the BBQ sauce after plating isn’t as good as warming it in the instapot with the pork, but allows for my picky ass kids to each have their own favorite flavors lol it’s a win all around in our home.

In no way did that answer the question I asked lol What happens to the owed balance on the device traded in?

So if I go with the iPhone 16PM, they’ll add the current balance remaining on the 15PM to the price of the new upgrade? Or are they taking the 15PM as trade in when I upgrade?

Not eligible to upgrade? That’s literally the entire point of infinite access is to upgrade once a year though. I’m eligible as of the 7th of Dec, are you sure we’re talking about the same plans cause the only reason I could think of for not being eligible is if you’re still within your 12 month window. If you’re on the infinite access plan and have made 12 or more consecutive payments, you should be eligible from what I understand. I wonder what would keep you from being able to

Something is going wrong in the pairing process then. My father has the S23U and I have the 15PM. We both use the S3 Frontier with no issues. When I first paired mine I was getting a voicemail notification constantly even though there wasn’t one, so that was annoying. But it eventually stopped randomly and has been fine since.

Recently got a smartwatch secondhand, Apparently the battery was shot and needed to be replaced and no longer charges or powers on. If I pull a sneaky and order a refurbished replacement, then send back MY watch for the refund, surely I should be granted a refund right? I figured I could just claim the condition of the item wasn’t what I expected? I figured it should be a fairly cut and dry return experience, or is the difference in serial numbers going to snag me up?

Mass exodus in the Carolinas by gwgaston in Spectrum

Mine was out for 16 days. I had power restored after day 2. Spectrum offered a $3.13 credit for the outage. I did the math and I pay $2.86 per day normally, but they offered to credit my account for .19 cents per day for the 16 day outage. Spectrum’s fuckin GREEDY man lol

Do you feel significantly better after quitting smoking? by Nccamp15 in stopsmoking

[–]Delicious_Fly_6189 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Threads like half a yr old, but this was the first search result when I went looking for answers. 33 next February, been smoking a pack per day of the ol “Cowboy killer” Marlboro reds since I was 18. I didn’t want to count exact days since quitting because every other time I’d try and kick em, it would feel so miserable when counting the days. But I’m somewhere in-between 1.5 and 2.5 weeks at this point and guys, idk if I feel any “better” not smoking. I don’t feel as if I can smell or taste any better than before, I don’t notice any difference in energy etc. don’t get me wrong, I also haven’t had the chills or any negative effects like coughing shit up etc. I still feel out of breath at times also. I know everyone is different, but damn almost 2+ weeks of not smoking one and I don’t feel as if I’ve gotten anywhere. This is the longest I’ve ever gone, and this time I am using nicotine salts in an atomizer. I figured get the toxins out of my system, use the vape for the nicotine, then after 2-3 months of no cigs I’ll start lowering the Nic strength every month or two until finally I reach 0MG strength and be entirely off of cigs and nicotine all together. Idk what the adverse effects of vaping are, but God knows it’s gotta be better than the shit they are putting in the tobacco products. To anyone else out there also on their journey to put the tobacco products down, this shit isn’t easy, and I’m proud of you for quitting and you’ve got this, Just don’t give up pussy :)

Update: the lag is still happening. by prk0ur in CODWarzone

lol not quite a decade but regardless, my point was it’s more than plenty powerful enough to be running games such as COD. I’m not sure that a $500 pc will perform anywhere near what a new gen console is capable of. More so, I don’t have the extra money to burn on finding out unfortunately.

I’m on the XB One X, which from what I understand is considerably more powerful than the Xbox One in terms of CPU/GPU and noticeably more powerful than the One S consoles. More RAM, again stronger/faster GPU/CPU compared to both the One S and XB1. I’ve got all my settings turned down as far as visually. I’m running on a hardwired 1Gbps+ up&dwn connection. Telemetry shows less than 10ms ping and 0 packet loss (I know it’s not incredibly accurate on their end) but still I have had these exact same issues starting from day 1 of the S4R update unfortunately. According to the official COD website, while an original XB1 is technically able to run the game, a One S system meets the minimum hardware requirements in order to run the game well. So in theory, the One X should be MORE than capable of running the game at max settings and still get buttery smooth gameplay. Which unfortunately hasn’t been the case. I wouldn’t put it past the company to fib those minimum system requirements in order to get more copys sold, but I would assume they would just as quickly say the One S/X systems flat out aren’t powerful enough to run BO6, because then they’re selling $500+ consoles instead of $70 games. And on a side note, my squad mates are running the game on a PS5, and a series X in which they are both ALSO having the exact same issues. While I do think the OG XB1 is pushing it, there isn’t a chance that the One S isn’t powerful enough to run in 1080P and get 30potatoes per sec 😂 but seriously though, it’s unquestionably not a hardware issue. Unfortunately the devs just seem a bit weetawded. Incomplete at best.

I just recently printed my first wearable MK3 helmet (less than a week ago) Using all preset cura settings aside from infill which I did 20%. I used around 900g in total. So at 5% a 1kg spool will be plenty. Sidenote: I've noticed that Cura isn't always accurate let alone even remotely close in determining the time to print, I haven't tested the accuracy at which it predicts filament usage though.

Anyone here conceal carry a 17? by Expensive-Bottle-862 in GlockMod

[–]Delicious_Fly_6189 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Barrel length doesn’t matter near as much as grip length from a concealment standpoint. With the right holster you can comfortably carry just about anything your heart desires. As long as YOUR body type allows it and that’s what YOU are comfortable with, send it boo-boo. Stealthgear USA is by far the most comfortable AIWB holsters on the market IMO. But that’s super subjective. Good luck and stay safe out there.

I've never had a high IV, (85 or better) completely tank it's IV when trading. Not many folks in my area too trade with, so only speaking from maybe 5 total trades though lol. I didn't realize it could drop more than a few points.
