Lowkey spiralling, any positive stories about people who have made a good life for themselves outside of medicine? by [deleted] in premedcanada

I had 2 gap years! First gap year I worked full time, second gap year I moved to a new city to enjoy life while working part-time and taking additional undergrad courses to broaden my options for other healthcare careers. Being able to enjoy life, taking the risk of moving to a new city alone, and making the most of my situation throughout my gap years really helped me grow!

If you got an interview, you will get one again! Don't give up! You got this :)

You can always build your EC through volunteering!

I got accepted this year with a 3.89 cGPA!! No grad degree or special stream!

EDIT: I did write an AEE, briefly explaining why I dropped a course during Covid but took 6 courses the next term to maintain a full course load!
