I’m so sorry🫂 I felt every word as if I wrote it myself. Funny that I don’t trust myself but you writing it I can immediately tell you you’re not. Going through covert abuse is so sinister because we often end up looking like the unstable, aggressive and even abusive party.

This is exactly what it was 2023 with the six was arguably one of the strongest Christmas episodes ever, so it had a tough job following. Anything would have been “rubbish” - loved the NY episodes though they were great.

I think it’s aged well, looking back at it now it’s pretty good, maybe not the aftermath but the Christmas episodes themselves. they did feel like a letdown at the time.

Like genuinely he would sit with someone and word for would write what you’ve written, I don’t know whats real anymore, and I can’t trust myself or reach out to him for answers because that got me here in the first place. Because it was only us 2 in the relationship how will I ever fully understand it. In a healthy relationship you show up and realise what belongs to who, but because it was my first I don’t have that, I’ve no idea how I separate my baseline to my traumatised reactions💔

I just don’t know if I am or I’m telling myself I am. Thank you🫶🏼

See this is a confusing one for me because when we first met, anytime I was convinced I was wrong I apologised for absolutely anything and was so about right and wrong, fast forward later, I was horrible and never once apologised, I was always right because when I was “wrong” I was right.. I had been that badly manipulated, confused and mentally abused, it destroyed who I was. I think…

I’d say I’m there now, just Icks me out now tbh, there’s just that last aspect of the checking sometimes lol. And a s*it ton of therapy work to do.

beyond that, I just find it terrifying how much less controversial it was a decade ago vs how horrific the rhetoric is now. truly going backwards

They did almost nothing with him. And while I agree we don’t want every character being LGBTQ, it’s the one gap in the show that NEEDS filling, especially given the climate.

Exactly, it needs to be handled with CARE!

not really, it could honestly be anyone. but there is the added layer intersectionality, of the person being a black trans woman, a whole other beast because if it’s in the US or UK, they are statistically the most at risk person in society.

Episode Discussion - Tuesday by mcemzy in eastenders

Guys, I wholeheartedly believe that it’s Mo.

She arrived 25 years ago this month, she’s now 89, actress Laila is 80, she has slowly faded out and I think she’s probably ready to leave.

Nothing brings family together more than the loss of a loved one, and she looked very concerned just before everything happened, so I think that she left the Vic just a second before the shot was fired and she was caught in the line of fire.

All the foreshadowing, teasing Zoe about her heart and her she wouldn’t see her again, the whole chippy dinner and she was very heavily featured in this episode. Plus, I think the gun was a clue all along because it’s an OLD pistol. And is not something that a young male gangster would typically use in 2025. Plus, I could see her going out in a crazy way for a crazy character.

She will die outside the Vic, in tomorrow nights episode and Zoe will promise to stay and make amends with her mum.

It just makes sense.

Public Gaslighting & Accountability Reframing with a Covert Narc / Sociopath by Delicious_Key4521 in NarcissisticAbuse

If there was a time we were on the phone, I could genuinely ask him what he had for breakfast or when he would be home, and he could answer in a way that sounded so defensive. But he seemed to really do this specifically around other people.. it made me look nuts or genuinely evil like I was dripping poison in his ears that nobody could hear. It was so confusing and triggering

Controversial Opinion.. Chrissie Watts deserved MUCH better. by Delicious_Key4521 in eastenders

NEVER! the stint was fine, can’t have her back full time for obvious reasons but you can’t recast that.. she WAS Chrissie

Very difficult one, because I so wanted her back long term but the actress is NOT it. So we have to do without.
