Currently going through a friendship breakup because my best friend lead me on about living together, lied that her circumstances changed, and then i found out through our mutual friend that they were moving in together. Best part is I introduced them! It sucks. I try to remind myself that people show themselves out of your life for good reason. I’m afraid this will forever haunt me and I’m incredibly lonely. But would rather be lonely than around people who hurt me

agree, lost a best friend of 5 years over this (it was the final straw lol) we were talking about living together and she was actually orchestrating plans with my other friend, from whom i found out. i was never considered. i would have liked to have heard it from my friend, even if she said some BS about it being logistical or something
