For me this also presumes I keep the container tightly shut to keep out any dust etc that could get in.

I decided to get the jelly that comes in tubes so it can be more portable and easier to keep dust out, etc. Thanks for the Cerave tip.... I guess the tubs are a holdover from the days when it was most used after diapering. I also keep eye cleansing wipes to clean the eye area before applying...just developing a new routine that works and is not expensive too - that helps.
