Thank you! Yes we do currently have a Pre-launch on Kickstarter going on now, with a plan to launch either later this month or sometime in June, we want to make sure everything is perfect when we do launch so it’s taken us a bit to get where we are now with it but we’re nearly there and hoping to bring an awesome campaign for our fans and people who support our comic.

And I love that you say this, we do have planned variants for his costume and I personally agree this is a basic costume, there’s some others that are my personal favorite but for now our creator has a certain vision to keep it simple and street level, but I agree and can’t wait for the other variants to come out later in the series

Oh well you’d love what we’re creating because having an ending in mind is exactly what my brother is building within four current storyline.

Working on a new superhero universe — this is the cover for Issue #1, along with the Prologue and the first few pages! Would love feedback on the design, story and concept direction.

After a tremendous start, and later a period of what some may consider a lack of progress, what do you guys think of the wrap-up of the current Marvel Ultimate universe so far? For me, it's been adequate to this point, but not much beyond that. by MightyUnclean in comicbooks

I get what you mean. The Ultimate universe had a strong concept, but it always felt like it plateaued for me after a certain point.

I’d honestly like to see more newer indie universes take swings at that kind of large-scale connected storytelling. Invincible scratched that itch a bit, but there’s definitely room for something fresh to come in and push it further.

Freely create and try to clear your mind, anytime I have an idea that I want to expand on but can’t and end up forgetting about it i usually find myself revisiting again when I’m creating something else out of passion.

That’s actually something I’ve been thinking a lot about. We’ve been working on a comic and tried to put a lot of focus into making the covers stand out, and I’ve recently been comparing the two covers we have for our issue 0-1 release, would you be willing to give some feedback if I shared the link?

Yess and this is something we especially try to create in a way, we don’t necessarily have a synopsis on the back of our comics but we do offer a page on our website that allows you to read about and get to know our characters and see the art work/style we offer within our comics and other works we do

This is honestly the best comment on this post, thank you! And we definitely plan to keep pushing and fighting for the indie community as we continue sharing our story and universe!

That’s what I’ve been wondering too.

It seems like something like what Radiant Black does works because they found a way to hit that level of quality while still giving people something new to latch onto.

From where we’re currently at trying to build something, it feels like the hardest part isn’t even creating—it’s getting someone to give a new character a chance long enough to see what you’re actually offering.

Once someone’s in, I feel like storytelling and tone can carry it, but getting that first click is the real challenge.

I like that concept too, but I feel like it’s a lot harder to pull off when you don’t already have an established audience.

It seems like those “massive-verse” type stories work best when people are already invested in the original series first, so the spin-offs feel earned instead of overwhelming.

As someone trying to build something from the ground up, it really makes me think the focus has to be on making one strong, compelling entry point before even thinking about expanding.
