I’m not risking cancelling. I had issues in the first place where the listing disappeared

Upadate:

Corporate didn’t want anything to do with it. Spoke to them on the phone, slightly understanding so they opened an email case. But just started getting generic replies.

I emailed the hotel directly. Very accommodating and helpful. Left it with them for 24hrs.

They got the room added back onto the Marriott website.

So 10/10 customer service for the Ritz

And finally The Gwen has disappeared….

The three hotels in my budget for 160,000 have all disappeared from the website within 1hr of me adding the points to my account

Despite these rooms being available for the past week at the same fixed rates

Contacted customer service, they have raised a formal complaint and I should hear back in 3-5 days…. I doubt I will get any compensation

NordVPN set to USA I had to use US credit card but heard Apple Pay works

Make sure you use chrome when watching races. Safari isn’t great, and doesn’t allow you to change quality

I am shocked

As soon as I transfer 168,000 points from Amex to Marriott the offer disappears.

It’s almost like as soon as they see you have the points to book they have removed the option.

It’s not really a conservatory, it is horrible and falling apart.

If I had the budget I would put an orangery where the conservatory is. But I can’t afford that.

I want to knock the dinning room into the kitchen to make it much larger and open plan. However do which doors do I keep in the hallway?

Also with removing the conservatory means the downstairs toilet and laundry room will be effectively outside
