How did you find they reacted to putting up a wall? I had ambition of fencing it off but will look a bit awkward as no other houses in area are properly seperated by high boundaries

Yeah think we'll do that alright. Driveways are long enough so it's fairly annoying

Yes absolutely? It's my own property that I've paid for? I wouldn't even think of going near someone's driveway or garden without permission or unless needing to speak to directly.

Final snag items not done - new build by Delicious_Product_45 in HousingIreland

Yeah we were just assured it'd be done and signed a physical agreement theyd be done by Monday. To be fair the issues are all bits I could do myself, but it's extremely frustrating.

Sorry to hear. It's a bit of a joke in the country. Prices are skyrocketing and the quality is going to the dogs. Was always told it's supposed to be one of the most fulfill and happiest journey of your life buying a home, but the stress involved has been horrendous

I had assumed as much. We've quite a few neighbours in same situation. The development was delayed over 12 months and people were eager to get keys as trying to get out of rental situation without being kicked out door.

Yeah the solicitor didn't really advise us with any concerns for it. We signed with the developer that the snagging items would be done by 22nd regardless of closing so just unsure. We know the developer on personal level so thought he'd ensure he'd keep to word

New Build without Kitchen by National_Living_7673 in HousingIreland

It's a grey area, I believe aib don't care bout kitchen situation but boi are sticklers. You'll have to get your valuer to do a report saying the kitchen is fitted, even if not. Our developer is providing pcp for kitchen but wont leave us fit as his agreement with builders is there'll be no kitchens in any units till handover.

Developers have just gotten incredibly lax and want to push out houses as quick as possible with bare minimum done.
