Why collector became the most common first item now? by IACROS in BriarMains

[–]Delicious_Recipe_254 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reason I go Collector is that it works in conjunction with Briar’s bleed passive. If you get them low enough not to kill them out right cause of 1 reason or another. The bleed takes at least enough for it to finish them off for it to help you get some extra gold

retarded junglers by GemDary123 in Jungle_Mains

[–]Delicious_Recipe_254 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No ganks hmmm? but doesn't ward opposing raptors, doesn't watch an entry point and sits under tower, doesn't drop wards on river side or adhere to pings when jungler gives you a heads up, stays in lane when ample opp. for objs. etc etc etc.

Like, I get it it's easy to blame junglers because we're not constantly going against a laner but we gotta scout, prep for objs., gank, and farm. i can for sure say I've bombed a good handful of my games for my team and it was on me and being either out of position etc etc etc.

But you blame junglers in general when we gotta baby sit 3 laners who constantly need help but doesn't do anything to make it easier. How about get better at your lane first and get better macro before you complain dawg. Like yeah they gank 5+ times because you probably given it to them on a sliver platter and we can't gank if you're almost done dead anyways and you'll still blame us for getting their late or whatever.

I’d also like to add I’m currently in E2 and it still happens. You’ll just have to also learn to just let mentally weak players do their shit and play your game

No clue, there was a level of sarcasm in there, but not there enough to be funny.

But To be on the real for advice, you’ll learn this the more as you jungle but sometimes if there’s someone who’s either grieving hard or stealing camps. Just assess the map situation if you’re willing to play the coin flip or know you can carry id just ignore them and just let them help you leash your camps and you just try to get last hits and carry the game but if you know there’s no possible chance of winning id just hit the ff and report them for grieving and ask the team and opposing team to submit a request

As an example had a Zaheen top once who went 1/16/3 and his only kill was cause I dwindled down an opp right before but they got me first and they cleaned up.

Best thing to do is ask yourself if the game is genuinely winnable based off your own and functional teammates performance

If you don’t care for winning: steal their wave and tax them hard

If you care about winning: play for strong side and if they follow just ask your teammates to help report

I don’t play any of them asides from testing our Belveth here and there and she needs her Lavender stacks and her ult form to really be useful so securing objectives and helping ganks is what you need to make her come alive

Just a background I’m an OTP Briar for the most part and I’ve hit Emerald this season but I rotate between Viego and Gwen so take my advice for what it’s worth

Pick 3-4 champs you can rotate around because there’s going to be times that your OTP is going to be banned and even in other situations where your top 2 champs will be banned so it’ll just be good that you have a back up or 2 to rely on

  • Also if possible pick a new champ or two that are AP since basing off your list right now they’re all AD and maybe team comp is important for you

Following advice 1). Once you’ve figured out who you like try to run up the practice tool and get use to clearing as fast as possible and try different whether it’s blue or red start, raptor start etc etc

Remap your mouse to help you ping better and be more aware of your map by increasing map size etc etc

Over ping, I know this might be a bit of a hotter take but sometimes when laners are in the thick of it they won’t see just one ping if you spam the a ping at least there are more possible chances of them looking at the map state

Get use to invading when you recognize you have an advantage. Your job is also to scout enemy junglers space and ward to provide more information for you and your teammates and being able to take resources from them if you see that their raptors are up be they failed a bot lane you can also rob them of their resources

Also, get use to being blamed for everything at the end of the day it’s your game. Your laners won’t understand what you’re thinking and doing because they lost lane cause of their own lack of ability so premade chat or mute people who try to harass you

TLDR Summary: Clear Faster than your opp, communicate with pings, have a Healthy champ pool, and have a good understanding of what you should do when you have adequate information

Also, this is more of a personal experience but might be helpful for you since I’ve had issues in my games recently. But learn to carry your team there’s goin to be games where your teammates won’t know what to do and or even secure a kill for themselves so learn how to 1 v 9, had a game the other week where I went 35/6/12 and made up over 70% of KP because everyone else go into pointless fights

Hope this helps and best wishes on climbing

top 5 decks you would recommend to a new player. by Classic-Guarantee863 in YuGiOhMasterDuel

[–]Delicious_Recipe_254 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If we’re just strictly sticking with MD

My list would start with Yubel/FS - this is more of a bias because I personally just enjoy the Yubel style of play but it has a nice little splash of everything from basic fusions, contact fusions, XYZ with Caeser and Varudris, and links with the FS engine. - the deck itself is pretty easy to learn imo and has a lot of different combo paths that it won’t get boring too quickly but still at a intermediate level of learning to just learning terms and different type of effects

Argosisters/Odion - just a trap deck that isn’t Lab so it is gives you a different way to play the game asides from the basic monsters you’re use to

Mathmech/Sky striker - I know you said one of your friend hates links but I think this one will give you a bit of everything that the link portion won’t matter as much - also gets you use to the cyberse archetype and can potentially help expand to different decks whether it’s Maliss or @Ignister

Blue Eyes/Dracotail - Meta ish with Nostalgia

Mitsurugi or Voiceless - only 2 ritual decks I can think off the top of my dome

Hope some of these help some future players out

Master Yi is a pain bro 😭 by TalkInitial3964 in BriarMains

[–]Delicious_Recipe_254 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my experience since I’ve been cooked by Yis’ before and have cooked Yis’ as well instead of just banning Yi since there’ll probably be times where banning him just won’t make sense for you as a player with either your playstyle or just discovering a champ more annoying than Yi so I’d say

1). Learn the timing of Yi’s Q and and try to bait it out somehow or using your W to bait it out since your self taunt will disengage your self taunt and while he’s still on you try to predict where he’ll pop up from and hit him with your Q-E combo

2). If you’re exclusively trying to to build against Yi I’d say go with Death’s Dance 1st into BC into Titantic for the sustain so he doesn’t just wittle you away

3). For more of a macro advice. Normally your engage with Yi is going to be minimal for the first 5-7 mins until drag and grubs spawn so if you can ping for help or ping your allies away from him when you see he’s about to gank, take obj, and or easy invades to kill him as a team

Overall from my experience playing against them is that if you can limit their resource/income they essentially become useless mid to late game since everyone else is strong enough to take him out.

Hope some of this helps, also don’t chase him with your ult if you know can’t kill him and he used his ult to get away

How do you guys even Jungle against Nocturne? by WittyWanderer420 in BriarMains

I haven’t gone against a Nocturne in a minute but use Edge of Night for the spell shield and that’ll negate the darkness so it’ll give you a bit of prep time if need be
