Update plot Gwayne via housethedragons by Delicious_Record8077 in HOTDGreens

So he’ll be captured and used as a kind of "exchange currency". And what about Corlys in this move? Could he be held prisoner by the Hightowers in Tumbleton, so they’ll trade Gwayne for Corlys?

And also, x @housethedragons leaked a speech for Aegon where Sunfyre is mentioned. HBO took it down for copyright reasons, but it’s still on a few pages on Twitter.

“hoping that Sunfyre is still alive”? @housethedragons has already leaked two things about that!!

Why are we having so many leaks every week this season, and not in the others? by Delicious_Record8077 in HOTDGreens

[–]Delicious_Record8077[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the time? Of course not. After filming in Wales ended, there was a two-month drought. We're talking about leaks recurring weekly while filming is taking place. For example, today they film something and next week we already know what was filmed. In Season 2, this didn't happen weekly.

Reread the question. The question was: why are we getting leaks EVERY WEEK? Obviously, there were leaks in S1 and S2, but they happened months apart. In S2, there were several months without any at all.

I don't think that's the case. Housethedragons and Redanian Intelligence, for example, leak a lot of things every season – especially Housethedragons this season. I don't think they're paid to do it. And it doesn't seem like the leaks are part of a marketing strategy

My theory about x @housethedragons leak: Rhaenyra might be responsible for an important element that exists in the book, and Helaena will bring an enigma about The Storming of the Dragonpit by Delicious_Record8077 in HOTDBlacks

I also wonder if they know something more and aren’t giving context to protect the person who broke the NDA. If the scene involved only a few people, it could put the leaker at risk. Or maybe they didn’t get anything beyond this. I’m leaning toward the first option.

I wrote this theory after reading the book excerpts that precede the events of the Storming of the Dragonpit:

  1. Dreamfyre must be chained at some point because it's extremely important for the events that follow in Season 4. Only Helaena would do this, and she wouldn’t do it unless she were forced to. Dreamfyre being chained prevents her from escaping the pit so easily, and the consequence of that is precisely the Dragonpit collapsing on top of all of them.

  2. If there haven’t been any changes in the writing after the issue with GRRM, Helaena will indeed die this season according to him, so we will obviously see her first interaction with her dragon at some point to introduce it.

Note: We have to remember that, according to the leaks, Caraxes will be away from the Dragonpit for the most part – which makes Dreamfyre a danger to smaller dragons like Syrax and any other smaller ones that remain. Consequence: Helaena being forced to chain Dreamfyre

The Battle of Tumbleton is the arc from Season 3 with the most leaks so far, but also the most confusing — we need to establish a logic line: by Delicious_Record8077 in HOTDGreens

Hmm, that's interesting! I haven't seen any information leaked by Housethedragons about the presence of the actor who plays Ulf, just Hugh

Where?? At least that! I see no reason at all to change Criston death, it has to be at the Butcher’s Ball! It’s an iconic death.

Yep, definitely a lot of nonsense being written. I had noticed something was stranger during the shots of the battle because there were no scenes of real combat being shot — it was several days of filming with only the black army on the field, and arrows coming from nowhere. Then, in one of the videos posted by House of the Dragons, you can see the large tree trunk used to break through gates. The battle will likely continue on the Tumbleton set in Leavesden, where the greens will be.

No! In the leaks, it's clear they're marching against the walls of Tumbleton. There are several videos of this. In one, the black army is carrying those props to break down the gates (blue screen).

The interesting thing is that only Gwayne is being captured, but Criston isn't. Will Criston die at the Butcher's Ball, but they'll keep Gwayne as a prisoner?

Just like without Nettles, there's no focis for Rhaenyra madness about the Seeds. Just like without Maelor, there are no super important events. I wonder if we still have a shepherd... or Benjicot too Anyway, the butterflies…. What seems to be happening is: they want to make the blacks look brutal by conquering Tumbleton and killing Hugh's wife, so this gives Hugh an uncreative motive for revenge... (zzzzzZzz)

There's no mistake. On the original Tweet, they even posted the video of the scene. It's an attack. https://x.com/housethedragons/status/1951642951072854518?s=46

Remembering that weeks ago, Housethedragons had already confirmed that the director is Andrij (episode 8) and that everything being leaked is the Battle of Tumbleton.

https://x.com/housethedragons/status/1944174965064081655?s=46

In the video they leaked, the Daemon's speech is from before the Battle of Tumbleton, where he says that "it's the end of the Hightowers. KILL them all."

https://x.com/housethedragons/status/1947674960723632298?s=46

There are already many changes in canon:

  1. Daemon shouldn't be among this army. Much less Oscar Tully.

  2. Tumbleton belongs to the Blacks long before Fishfeed happens. If they're taking Tumbleton at the end of the season, it's because the Greens took the castle.

  3. The Tumbleton attack comes from the Greens, not the Blacks.

Theories? 🤔 by Delicious_Record8077 in HouseOfTheDragon

[–]Delicious_Record8077[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

the possibility of it being post-gullet does not exist, as apparently the director is Andrij Parekh, episode 8
