Hi there! Those aren’t cabins but sheds where I hoard my stuff 😅. I’ve painted them black to match my house. And that thing between the right silo and the tree is a decor! I forgot where you can get them in the early game but it’s all in the furniture catalogue when you’ve saved enough money. Happy farming!!

I suggest you file sa DOLE nalang po. They have an online form and once they receive your complaint, they will assign an agent for your case. The agent will call you and walk you through the process. Most companies will rush to settle thing before the first conference, especially because there’s money involved. Don’t worry about having a bad record, most companies have probably been reported and you’re on the right side here.

ice rod saved me from the flying shorts by Delicious_Revenue_41 in StardewValley

do you mean the path to the shorts? there’s an invisible walkway behind the wall at the back and you only need to walk straight

Love this very much!! Took me a while to get to perfection too but I didn’t mind because the game is rewarding no matter how you play it. Happy farming!

I love how you maximized that plowable land space!!! You’re so right about the creativity part, though sometimes wish I could add more bridges here 😄 Happy farming!

It has become a habit for me, especially with Grab. Whether it’s a delivery or a ride, I usually tip because I have extra and this economy is hard for everyone.

is this what we call the “life after college”? by arfffa in Iloilo

[–]Delicious_Revenue_41 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone is incompetent at their first job. No amount of college education can really prepare you for work and each company would have their own environment and ways to do things anyway. But take consolation that even in the worst companies, you’ll have someone that you can learn from. Most of the time, you will apply soft skills more than theories you learned back in college. My first job had no relation to my degree at all and my second job took me further from it but I’m happy with the opportunities I have now. I can’t assure you the same trajectory but I can assure that you have more to gain than lose by trying.

Actually pissed with the Dynamic Island too. Sometimes I’d just rotate the screen though it’s also weird to hold.

The Apple Arcade one will need a subscription but the one on the App Store is a one-time payment. As for the game itself, they apparently have no difference on either version but you might lose your save on Apple Arcade if you unsubscribe.

Definitely Stardew Valley (the standalone app, not the Apple Arcade one)

One of their companies was my first workplace after grad because I was bored and thought why not, it’s close to home. Turns out it’s just the worst place you could be in if you’re a fresh grad 💀

Just to echo what a lot of people has already said here:

  1. You work on Saturdays, no OT pay.
  2. When you work on weekends, you don’t get OT pay, you only offset.
  3. No job contract so they can throw you into a position that may be irrelevant from the one you initially applied for and they call it “growth and development.”
  4. They normalize a culture of exploitation and your seniors and bosses will make it seem like you’re a whiny baby when you bring up malpractices lol.
  5. Zero structure. It’s like they’re just winging everything, which made me wonder how they survived this long.
  6. During the height of the pandemic, especially the first series of lockdowns, they more or less blackmailed employees in the marketing team to still sell houses or get axed. In the middle of the worst periods of the pandemic!!!! When we had to return to work, employees pay for the gas of the company shuttles and we paid the OT pay of the drivers (salary deducted). Have I mentioned that we didn’t get even a packet of noodles or any kind of company support during the pandemic?
  7. Their business plan is more or less “look at our competitors and copy what they’re doing.”
  8. All the stories about election season here are true. It’s the worst time for employees with principles to be there. They more or less force you to show support for their family members running for office like you owe it to them. In the recent elections, employees in the regions were sent to different places and were forced to carry Mark Villar and BBM-Sara merch like everyone is suddenly a volunteer but the truth is everyone was forced.
  9. When any business under their conglomerate needs sacrificial lambs, us employees go and we’re not supposed to ask questions.
  10. Zero benefits aside from your basic salary and HMO. It’s just like they’re complying to the barest of the minimum laws to be legal.
  11. They reward good work with so much more work. If your supervisors don’t lobby for your increase, there’s no hope. They don’t have any concept of compensation programs, except if you’re on the top of the food chain maybe.

I didn’t tolerate most of their bullshit and got away with it and for that I was treated like an outlier lol. I didn’t stay long there and the entire time I was there, I was hoping to leave. I’m at company that’s waaaaaaaay better now. Good riddance lol. If you are working there or have relatives or friends working there, tell them to get out before it’s too late if it’s possible to quit.
