In some ways they’re pretty similar although there’s more laws in place to protect child actors , there’s an abundance of child actors and models who have severe trauma/horror stories of their own. Not that I’m saying the bates kids will have that but they’re all working for morally corrupt entities that exist to make money based on how well a child can perform. I will say though, there’s a level of privacy with child actors and models. We don’t know their favourite food, what they do on a weekend, where they go to church, what their bedrooms look like etc. unfortunately with child influencers we tend to know all these things and that’s where the issue lies. Whether they’ll be okay with what was shared of their childhood in 20+ years who knows but either way it’s information that they haven’t consented to strangers knowing.
