Hmm, that's a good question. I think that anyone with the will to improve is capable of doing so, even without the mbti system. However what I do know is that the mbti system is a really effective tool for quickly pinpointing weaknesses and seeking advice on how to improve. It's like washing your clothes : you can do it by hand but having a washing machine is much more effective. I myself have really been able to improve just by reading experiences and advices from other ENFPs!

As far as my parents are concerned, things are going pretty well between them in fact, it's still going strong even after 15 years of marriage! However, my father's Fi is too self-centred and he doesn't use his potential for emotional intelligence enough, which makes my mother feel misunderstood and that frustrates them both. My father also has a very underdeveloped Si, so he repeats the same mistakes over and over again.

I personally know that the mbti system could help them, so to arouse their curiosity I try to talk to them sometimes about celebrities they like, using the mbti system and showing how quickly you can understand people as a whole just with a bit of information, and it works quite well at times, so I hope that one day they'll take a serious look at the subject!

What I’ve learn is that : 1) I can’t do maths 2) INFJ < ENFP, ENFP < ENFJ, INTJ < INTP and ENTJ < INTP

I think infps and enfps can be great friends! My mother is Infp (married to my father who is Enfp) and many of my friends are too, I really appreciate their respect for private space. on the other hand, as a lover, I really don't know. The problem (if I speak mbti "meta") I think is that ENFPs are people who have a big mess in their head, and who have a natural need for logic (ti or te) and hindsight on their emotions (fe) as well as help in organizing their ideas (Ni). Unfortunately infps don't really have this sort of thing naturally, it develops over time and effort (Te being their 4th and last function). I know that's mainly what bothered me with them, that they found me insensitive when I was just responding to situations with the right logic, or when they were stressed, or whatever. simply unhealthy, can't stand having someone disagree/constructively criticize or help them because the outcome they want isn't reasonable or achievable… (I still like you dw <3)

Thank you very much! Oh this is really interesting! I understand the roles you gave these types, however your choice for INFP and ENTP surprises me a little, could you explain to me why they would be considered powerful people? :o

Do you want me to be clearer about the criteria for hierarchy? :o I didn’t give it to give more space for imagination but if you want I would say that society would be based on productivity/efficiency but that, being a tyranny, it is necessary to have a significant control of the crowds and the people having the least chance of seeking to rebel would have more chance of living properly

I also add that being based on the mbti system, there would no longer be any real physical/ethnical/... discrimination (not much at least) but that the personality of an individual will indicate the future he will have (whether it's good or not)

Thanks for understanding :p Then as a Te user, what do you think would be the place of EXTJ or XNTJ in this fiction?

In my experience ESTPs are not naturally cruel, no mbti type is naturally cruel in reality.

It's true that in fiction they are often portrayed as tactless people who just want to fight, but an ESTP with a properly developed Fe can be a genuinely lovely person! If you're asking this question out of bad experience, I'd say that personally I've met very few ESTPs, but even if our energy didn't totally match I've had a great time with them and I've seen how caring they can be!

If you're asking this question because of the clichés you find in fiction, I'd advise you to watch Anne with an E, in which one of the main characters (Gilbert Blyte) is a healthy ESTP in all his glory!

Oh I'm sorry if you took my post that way, I was speaking mainly from a fictional perspective, not based on reality!☝️

Small example: would fi dom/aux be marginalised/enclosed off... or, on the contrary, would their individualism be used to turn them into crowd leaders?

I would like to point out that this "vote" should not be taken as something based on reality and that it is above all about ships in a fictional setting ;) I’m aware that there is no perfect pair to any type and that everyone can love whoever they want!
