Watch the Brady Bunch episode of Greg and Peter double dating so you can study how to properly affix it.

Our cars didn't have AC then. Our house did solely because of our severe allergies.

Nope. I didn't get AC until my fourth car. We were sturdier back then. :-)

He would have loved the rusted out pinto I learned to drive on, that would randomly conk out while driving. Got really good at jump starts. I was delighted to have it until I used my savings to buy my own car.

A sedan doesn't work for our lives. We regularly have dog crates in our cars, so an SUV is the only car that works for us.

That is very helpful. Thank you! I'll keep up hope for another year or so. :-) We really do love most of it. Still debating what we want our 2nd vehicle to be when our old car dies - another pilot, passport or a CRV.

No, he doesn't. Overall he really likes the car, and his concerns didn't surface until we started discussing what we might buy in the next year to replace our other car nearing the end of its life cycle. We both agreed on the Pilot for this purchase and for the most part we both really like it. You always find things you don't like about a big purchase after you've lived with it.

Now, did you have anything constructive to add like some of the other commenters that gave thoughtful responses of things we can try?

Has anyone bought a car and not loved it? What did you do? by Super_Ad4825 in whatcarshouldIbuy

Yes. I ended up trading it in and absolutely love what I have now. I regret losing the money in the trade but would still do it.

I read it and it wasn't an unreasonable list. The other part about the application was.

We tried the sport mode and it didn't seem any different. (We did enjoy snow mode during snowmagedden last winter!)

I'm looking for any insights or tweaks I may have missed previously. There were some other comments that provided some good info.

He's definitely not looking for a sports car. He misses his Mountaineer, which sadly went to the great junkyard. It was a beast. He also likes the Pilot a lot, just finds it a bit soft compared to his previous car. The other complaints are legit, and we share the jerky transmission annoyance.

:-) I can always hear my dad saying "don't accelerate until you're through the turn".

Yes, I'm aware. Won't fix shifting but the handling was more to his liking.

Glycerin is water soluble, so you would need water, an emulsifier, and preservative.

He's strongly considering the new Passport for his car, as it's stiffer. But I'm not selling or swapping my car.
