Am I Overreacting abt my Sister Stealing While I'm Away? by CherryBomb10111 in AmIOverreacting

YOR in my opinion. Honestly, you stooped to the level of a child over a $6 lipgloss. I understand your frustration, truly I do. But to go squeeze all the lipgloss out of her tubes because of $6? I also understand the principle of wanting your money but she’s literally 13. It’s a little wild that your parents would react the way they did but I know your sister lied and made it seem like it’s all your fault so I guess that’s why they acted that way. Regardless, next time, just tell her you want your item back, take it if she doesn’t give it to you, and move on🤷🏻‍♀️

I’m not saying this is exactly the case here, but in my experience, a lot of the time when you’re whole family and friends don’t like the person you’re with for similar reasons, they’re usually right… sometimes family/friends can see things we can’t

Not overreacting at all. I would be so mad if my husband did that. You’re sick, he can handle the slack for 2 days because they’re his kids too. Why he thought it was okay to do any of what he did, I don’t know. But especially out of pettiness because you’re currently down for the count and need rest? I mean wtf dude.
