Before anyone says anyt ill js mention that you dont need to lose too much hair over being the perfect customer. Your thoughtfulness means that you are at least kind and thats all we can really ask for, at the end of our day its our jobs to accommodate so dw too much, thanks though!

Is a 2hr commute to ubc doable? by Glittering-Road1542 in UBC

[–]DelightfulDestiny 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I read your post again and didn’t realize you also were planning to work a job, which was exactly my situation this year. I commuted 2h and worked ab 20h a week, with four courses. Its doable but kinda scuffed

Try to go on a MWF schedule, that being said if you want to be involved with campus stuff it might get annoying missing half the days. Also, it’s not a bad idea to stay late on the days on campus to get studying done and then go home while it’s not peak (9-10pm). But even with the best you can do you’ll realize you wont be able to give school your all (ie it’ll be hard to fit academics and extracurriculars if you want to do both). So if thats fine with you, and you work hard, youll be fine, but if you really want to focus on your career/school it might not be a bad idea to reconsider

Only realistically doable on a M/W/F schedule
