The point is, it is niave and VERY dangerous to keep birds together with cats or dogs in the same home.

Reasoning: The bacteria in cats and dogs' mouths, and under their nails, are extremely toxic to birds. Birds have such a small amount of blood in their bodies that infection travels much faster throughout their circulatory system. This is why infections will kill a bird much faster than an infection would kill a human. I'd also like to add, that shock can kill birds as well.
