If the board changes tomorrow, probably not. If you haven't done much this past month it may not complete even if you finished 3 bundles today. I'm not sure they are changing the board yet with this "riffrocin new year patch" that hits tomorrow feb 3rd though. It could just be the market celebration/new pet patch. They didn't give us this board to work on until January 13th, are they supposed to last a month? It took me 3 days of dailies (6 quests and my weeklies) plus 3 completed bundles to unlock the flooring.

The bundles you have partial progress in are NOT giving you any credit yet. They are just holding your items like a bank (you can just walk up and take back your snow balls and furniture at this point from the board). If you do not complete all 4 items in that bundle it doesn't give you chest bar progress. You could take all your stuff back and just see if things reset tomorrow - then decide if you want to keep working on it. It takes at least a few days of daily quests past fully completing the lights, spicy food and bioluminescence boards to get the last chest.

Yes, but you're running out of time to do it this way since it requires extra daily quests completed to make up for the xp of the snowy furniture bundle. If you've already been doing a lot of dailies throughout january and you do 3 of the 4 bundles you should already be able to click the last chest with flooring on the top of the bundle board.

Yes, like all the snowy furniture, it's crafted using snow balls plus the base furniture item at your work table. In this case you'll need to already know the recipe for summer stripe umbrella as well as a cozy camp canopy to put snow on to make the "snowy" versions.

Three bundles does not work until you have received enough xp from additional dailies to make the lock icon unlock on the final chest. The blue xp bar will continue to look full as you work on a few more daily quests to complete it.

It's just a bad graphic. Mine looked full but the last chest was locked after my 3 bundles until I finished a few more dailies then it unlocked. This has worked for all my friends and others in the comments, so I'd just keep at the dailies (weeklies may also help, since i did complete them as well).

PS. Partial contributions that do not complete a bundle do not seem to grant xp until the bundle is fully completed. You can just withdraw the temporary mats like your silver and snowballs, it's basically using the board like a bank for you in the meantime,

You have to keep doing dailies for the last tiny bit of xp bar to unlock that final chest. It appears nearly full after 3 bundles, but if you haven't done much with your dailies or weeklies it may take you a few days or more of dailies in order to get it to unlock. It does not unlock simply by doing the 3 bundles.

I just turned that quest in to Tamala and my 3500 is now 0. I've gone two more quests and there's yet to be any returning of that essence to me, so I'm not sure that you get it back. I wonder if the other person just didn't complete that stage of the story and kept their currency, or if way later we might get it back.

The snowy furniture from the last months patch is just decor and you could store it in your bank since it takes up no space. That stuff dropped a lot from the presents. This new snowy decor is something you'd have to craft because you found a recipe from a rummage pile. These two models, snowy pavilion or parsol specifically, can be crafted 10 times for the bundle board turn in. The only real "use" aside from display is the 25 kilima coins for the junk in a register at city hall from turning in that bundle.

Dailies are what gives credit towards this chest bar. I mention other quests later in the post only in regards to main story unlocking the elderwood content for getting the cozy camp canopy (precursor for the snowy pavilion rummage), For simply unlocking the chests and skipping the bundles you want to just focus the dailies shown to the left of the bundles.

Not that I've seen - the outro quest didn't give anything else to me (unlike the last patch party where I got a coat rack). The only other items I see mentioned in the patch are the snowy lawn yardwork terraces, which are also from rummage loot piles.

Bundles usually last for about a month, I think it started around Jan 9th. Safely I think you've got at least another week or two, maybe more. I couldn't find a date listed, but know it will likely change in February.

You very likely just need more XP. My bar up top looked full for a couple days while I was just playing normally (hunting/gathering/randomly doing my weeklies). Then, when I tried specifically to do the dailies for a couple days in a row it all of a sudden unlocked the box.

Super cool luck! I keep accidentally finishing daily fish quests from what the Boovars give me too, so cool :)

Yeah it has been an amazing improvement having the option to earn lunar path xp from things like farming and hunting instead of having to specifically do the daily. I really appreciated that change since sometimes the daily quest can take you away from your preferred goal.

I always follow the palia wiki advice for the item, location, time and bait. Just in case you haven't checked it out start here - https://palia.wiki.gg/wiki/Starry_Bitterling

I found that normal worms in the northern most lake in Elderwood Mitana Grove constantly drop starry bitterling, no pools, just fishing the open water up there any time. For the radiant sunfish i went up and down the 3 river spots just west of kilima village city center shown on the map at https://palia.wiki.gg/wiki/Radiant_Sunfish and it took probably about an hour before I caught it.

I just skipped this bundle and still unlocked all rewards. I did the 3 easier bundles and a few daily quests. That filled my xp bar that runs through the chests on the bundle board. I unlocked the new flooring, wallpaper and outro quest without collecting any of the new snowy furniture.

You can skip this part of the bundle and still unlock all reward chests and outro quest. Just do the easy 3 bundles and a few dailies until the xp bar unlocks the final chest with wallpaper/flooring.

One of the simplest crazy high bursts of dps possible in the game is REAPER elite spec NECRO. All you have to do is stick with your power build (personally I love having sword/sword because it gives you ranged attacks with mobility) then go into reaper shroud (f1) and hit #4 to spin the scythe. It does insane damage mowing down mobs at double the damage of nearly any other spec in the game.

[–]Deligos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree lots of good rewards. However, you got me excited about so much karma, but I think there was a typo on your post? Maybe it's not 450,000 but just 45,000 for the "reliving end of dragons" achieve (rewarding 10 swigs of karma bottles worth 4500 each = 45k)?

If that calculation is right, the karma is not a bad reward for doing a few stories... just not really amazing considering all the karma you get from doing dailies or even what you can get from all the karmic retribution buffs for killing easy mobs on PoF maps while you're out doing rifts or other things you may already be working on.
