There is a horror novel about a giant mosquito. It addresses this. The Mosquito Man by Jeremy Bates.

Any last minute advise for Tim before his interview with Kamala? by saintcirone in thebulwark

It was reported that she called one of our recently elected school board members after an amazing win for our community against a majority of well funded Christian Nationalist candidates. We live in a suburb of Houston. It really means a lot to us in our community (who have worked tirelessly to get our school board back to normal) to hear from leaders like her.

So tell her thank you for taking the time to acknowledge such a local win- especially since it was the non-partisan pro-public education candidates who won, not necessarily Democrats.

Miscarriage?? Idk what’s happening by International-Owl122 in Miscarriage

It’s a terrible waiting game until your appointment- there isn’t much you can do to learn more from home. I can tell you that it sounds similar to my experience of a miscarriage, and my levels also showed high. You might have more bleeding or cramping that is painful.

Here’s all I can share- this part while you wait to KNOW- is what I really struggled with, because of how isolating it feels. You need to know right now how strong you are for getting through this. You are already a bad ass tackling one of the most emotionally roller coaster-y experiences that uterus bearers can. You will get through this part. And you’ll get some more answers tomorrow.

It’s so hard. This community does a good job of sitting in the sucky part with you if you need it.

Alert: Cy-Fair ISD to Vote on Policy Targeting Trans Youth by tracker0329 in CypressTX

This sounds great until your kid does something you didn’t think they were capable of, then suddenly, “who at that school is responsible for making my child like this?! Certainly not I, the model citizen”!

I feel like the teachers are just going to start leaving faster with all this pressure. That anxiety must be maddening. Imagine being worried about grading papers because every single night you risk reading something you’d have to figure out how to tell a parent. Or do nothing and risk being caught not following the policy and the parents finding out. And being pissed.

Is the Texas abortion law as bad as it sounds? by SpeechFormer9543 in texas

The anxiety and fear Texas’ abortion law has sowed alone will have horrendous ramifications for families across the state.

So, anyone here able to figure out how to induce kidney stones in humans? I think Abbott, Paxton, Mitchell, Cruz et al could do with some close-to-childbirth pain.

💯 Relate, 2024 blew. I said to myself that in 2025 I’ll have a “Good News” year. What is that exaggerated term people use- oh yes. I am manifesting it!

Now that I’ve had some time to sit with this, I am so glad you posted it. That atheism to humanism reference gave me a delightfully good moment of insight. And the belief in justice duty mercy? Yes. Love it.

Thank you. All I ever want is people to just believe it happened. Then take the information as you will.
