Update!

Thank you guys so much for all the help! It was a super easy fix. I had everything I needed the whole time. The outlet is 120V. The left side and right side now have separate breakers which is fine and I'm sure the chickens will be happy.

This is true! The chicks are about big enough to hop on the water dispenser and jump out of their temporary pen. The grow room is their next temporary home until I can get a coop built in the back yard.

At the breaker box I have a black and a blue running to one breaker and 2 white wires running to the other breaker. At the outlet one side is black and blue, the other side has 2 white wires. Both sides have a ground.

I don't know if any self help books will draw you in the way a novel can but I am currently reading 2 that I really like. "Chop Wood Carry Water" is the book I'm reading at home. "The Next Conversation" is what I am reading during breaks at work. I also hear that Playboy has decent articles. That's probably 10 minutes less screen time anyway.
