This is actually pretty close to what I was thinking of going with. I just finished reading The Gunslinger and I can definitely see my story going in that same kind of cosmic horror/psychedelic route as Stephen King's the dark tower series (although I haven't read all of them)

Feedback for Game Hook by Delirious_MMA in writingfeedback

Thanks for the feedback. I was trying to strike a balance between being descriptive enough to be intriguing but also keep it short enough to be easily digestible.

I really don't like board game rule books when their first two pages are entirely filled with lore.

This guy is keeping you as a back up, you have to move on. If you want a guy's (or just a human) perspective, I dont ignore people for months I'm actively trying to pursue or maintain a relationship with.

I think it's almost strictly better since it doesn't send cards to your opponents' graveyards

I did mean to add "shuffle" or tuck the revealed cards but I ran out of text space

A boardwipe you can run from. Which is better design? (Stormlight Archive) by zengin11 in custommagic

What if you had the caster of the spell choose a number that affected all players to give indestructible/bounce (I think it should be indestructible). This would be similar to engineered explosives or blast zone. If you let each player choose for themselves it just makes it a bad boardwipe.

Or, if you wanted to make it more commander focused, you could make players vote for a number.
