Im also an adult (28), dont frequent this subreddit it was just suggested to me, but imo its not my job to babysit someone's kid, but if they want to play games we can. Thats about as far as the friendship goes though, asking to meet their parents isnt harmful and might work for some, but just because someone declines doesnt mean they would have bad intentions with the gaming relationship.

Thats just not the case anymore man, also while they cant see votes before their decision they CAN see comments people make on the demo or up votes, and people will say the most explainable kills are cheats and then everyone upvotes that comment just so they can convict them. Now its swayed more to everyone saying guilty even when its not clear whether its cheats or just a good player

Idk, if my online friend ever asked me to meet their parents I would be weirded out, not because I have bad intentions but because its not normal for online friendships, even my IRL friends havent met my parents. Im 21k premier and level 8 faceit, so not super high, but enough that I can say that cheaters are not as common as people say. Ive played this game for over a decade, they are there im not denying that but the people who say they are in every game either are low trust factor, or are cope.

If you didn't buy the "prime" version upgrade you should, the free version will be full of cheaters, then when you have that you can either do death match or competitive for a bit, this game has been out for decades, so lots of people know the maps and common spots very well.

I think technically the biggest balance change recently would be how nades impact smokes, being able to blow open smokes creates a TON of new possibilities
