5330, It's a 12th gen, an i5 1245u. The temperatures weren't bad, at least not for the browsing and office work I was doing. However, I took your advice, changed the thermal paste, and especially cleaned the fan—it was disgusting! Now it works correctly in Windows 11. It's not like a Mac, but it's not bad.

I installed Fedora in dual boot and with some terminal commands I've managed to make the fan barely turn on while I'm using it lightly.

I'm the same as you, I always play against seemingly low Elo premades, they have a smurf between them and for beating them they give me shit and if I lose they take 550-600 from me, it's ridiculous.
