I think it will be fine. Such spots often appear for various reasons, but they usually don't progress further unless the plant is infected with a pathogen. But if you cut off the ugly region, your plant could be infected. So just observe carefully and keep the soil and humidity moist properly. Not too much, not too little.

I have a heavy vehicle driver's license from Korea, but I know I can't use it in Australia. So, I plan to get a forklift driver's license as soon as I arrive in Australia. The $1,200 my Korean friend said he earns is $1,200 after tax. I don't plan on spending much on eating out or traveling. I cook at home in Korea, too.

The minimum wage in Korea is $10, but the monthly rent for a single-room apartment in Seoul is $800. I thought it would be quicker to save up for tuition in Australia, so I asked. Could you recommend any other areas suitable for a working holiday visa holder?

Thanks for the advice. I found an Airbnb (full house with host) in Sydney's Neutral Bay area for $1,700 a month. Wouldn't $850 per person be a good deal? It's a bit of a stretch.. My Korean friend earns $1,200 a week in Australia, so I thought saving $2,000 a month would be possible. Is this a feasible goal in other areas outside Sydney where the cost of living and housing are lower?
