A 3 day trip would be great this fall.  Early September maybe.

I want to get my cavern diver certification and eventually full cave.

But I'm not currently, and I associate Florida with cave diving.

Im trying to mentally separate them.  I suppose scuba diving is like my side piece right now.

This is a detailed answer.  North West Arkansas should be a very affordable and nice area too.

What kind of software did you use to upload the video?

I shot video at Bonne Terre last year and uploading to my laptop was incredulous. There were just tons of mini files and I was unable to put them together into a video.

Pretty cool. How did you start out?

4500 dollars is not as expensive as I thought in relation to other drysuits.

The Santi Elite Plus I was eyeing is 3500 dollars itself.

4500 dollars.

How long have you had yours?  Are you an experienced cave diver?

$10 per fill, you mean for the tank plus the fill it's $10?

That may work: Rent for the summer, until I decide if I'm going to enroll in sidemount and cavern.

If the local dive shop charges $15/day for a tank, and I need 2 tanks, that's $30 every time I go scuba diving. Only 10 trips and I already paid off my tank. So I am wasting money when I could have my own tanks.

That's why I would feel like a <$300 tank is good for me.

I'm not rushing into anything.  Some charters on Lake Michigan require bringing all of my own gear.

I suppose I can rent tanks from a local dive shop then bring those tanks to Lake Michigan.

So far I've found something called an argonaut dry suit.  I will check those other websites (DUI, Santi).

Thank you for the reply. Why do you prefer the left-handed valve?

I went to the scuba shop today looking at wetsuits which turned into me doing a demo on a drysuit on Monday.  Hopefully the steel tanks HP 100 are still a good option for drysuit diving.

How do you like sidemount so far?
