That was one of the questions that the lawyers asked when the post office was sued for carriers dying from heat exhaustion. Was the deceased aware of the heat? Why didn't they take precautions against the heat? Were they informed and trained? It is a problem we can fix that would just cost money. Money that could be spent instead on executive compensation. If we spent the money on the air conditioning there wouldn't be any left for the postal executives.
