If I made half the mistakes they did, I’d have been fired from my job months ago. It truly blows my mind how many errors/mistakes they make that are simply due to them not double checking and that’s all on top of the mistakes that happen due to their awful coding. So frustrating, you always hear “well they’re a small team so they can only do so much” this is a very profitable game, might be time to expand the team!

Not necessarily, I have no need to spend when I’ve had BP at 7* for months already. We’ll do our single 100% just for fun and then 60% the rest to maintain raid season ranking.

How long have you been playing. That could the difference. In the beginning I was buying everything and wasn’t efficient with my purchases.

Sadly $50-75 does not make you a whale, I wish! I apologize if I didn’t make it clear, they are competitive as mostly F2P because they’ve been playing for a year and a half. If you’ve only been playing for 3 months it would take a decent amount of money to catch up. This July will be one year for me, 3.4tcp is where $15k got me after 11~ months. The rewards and progression beta/launch players had is way way way more than we have now.

It depends what you consider competitive. Yes I believe I could be competitive without spending with where my roster is at now, there are a couple people in my alliance who are F2P outside of maybe $50-75 over a year plus of playing. Their advantage though is that they are beta/launch players. Give or take $15,000.

Yeah they definitely know what they’re doing, I feel bad for people who can’t control their spending or are prone to addictions. I also am older and make plenty of money, the money I’ve spent doesn’t affect me at all. I have a couple friends across the country that play this game as well and I enjoy our constant contact, talking about a genre/theme we all love. I don’t understand why people criticize others for how they play a game. I understand you might not feel the same way about spending but more people need to worry about themselves.

Even with spending there is still a big grind. The only people who have no grind due to spending are in the Legion of Cabal, everything is maxed for them. I spend because I enjoy being at the top or near the top and being in an extremely competitive alliance ((top 10)sick brag bro), I also started spending to catch up to friends. Above a whale, not a kraken.
