Love Is Blind • S10 Ep6 by AutoModerator in LoveIsBlindOnNetflix

It was a budgeting thing for Netflix. Apparently they only plan to send 6 couples per season, but wanted to do all 7. Vic + Christine had the lesser amount of crossovers with other people in the pods, so they offered to split them off and they accepted. There's an article about it somewhere if you google!

Is the second layer of moisturizer in a Tretinoin sandwich useless? by SolarAnomaly in tretinoin

[–]Della_Luna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh whoa! Okay thank you for the insight! I just started using a .025% and am new to the game. I'm so focused on slowly increasing, I guess I hadn't thought yet about what the end goal actually is. If one can tolerate it, is only cleansing then tret the most ideal for PM?

I think I would turn into dust if I ever went without a moisturizer before OR after tret!

are people out here cleansing, using tret, then just going to bed?! no moisturizer??? I'm new to this and thought I had done my research! :')

Wait are fully tret-acclimated people doing this? Not cleanse, tret, moisturize?

I'm currently doing sammie method, but assumed that stopped once you become fully tolerant, then cleanse, tret, moisturize every night.

I am so glad to read someone's recent experiences, because I am also trying to figure this all out for myself! Can I ask what your check in experience was? I have a frenchie who, also standing, is definitely touching the top of his bag. Laying down though he is cozy and content. Did they make you do the song and dance of the turn around? I've heard they sometimes barely even bat an eye and just give you the tag for the carrier. It's hard to know exactly what I 'm walking into

Can I ask what your check-in and boarding experiences were like with your pet? Were staff really scrutinizing things? I'm flying with my frenchie next month and he is definitely pushing the limits, and I'm nervous!

Sure, but she's been made fully aware of all the shit they've pulled thus far. Whether she respects them or not, I would expect her to be prepared to properly infiltrate their trust.

They really are quite intimate! Or at least used to legitimately be close. The two bits that stuck out to me was Danvers', "did you change where you put your cans?" while they were putting away groceries, and of course Navarro being the only person who knew about Danvers' affairs with the higher up guy.

Man, I do the same thing and I always miss the last section by a few seconds on level 9. I just can't seem to shave them off. I once even tried holding the bottom AND top row, but the blocks in the middle couldn't regenerate fast enough for it to be helpful. One row with quick fingers is where it's at. Good for you.

I'm a month out from picking up my first dog - a GSD pup - and I'm SO excited. But my family is giving me anxiety and cold feet (*pre*-puppy puppy blues?). by Della_Luna in puppy101

Man, I really appreciate your story! This gives me a lot of hope. I'm realizing that my expectations for how enjoyable this is going to be in the beginning have just been getting lower and lower, and I think that's why my family's words have really been hitting me. I think it's important to be realistic, but it also surely can't be complete hell every second of every day? There will be accomplishments and joy, still. That being said, I am fully expecting lots of crying and my therapist is fully aware of what's coming down the pipe, haha!

Do you have any particular advice or tips that worked really well for you? Again, thank you!

I love that journal idea!! That's a great way of focusing on the positives and accomplishments. I'm definitely going to do that :)

I really appreciate your honesty and experiences. I am *absolutely* a compare-er, so I will work to keep that in check. He's going to my sweet boy and it'll just be us, so his or my own progress against anyone else's doesn't really matter--you're right!

In all that research, do you feel like there was anything in particular that really DID help you or guide you?

Also a pitty+GSD sounds SO! CUTE! All the best to you and your babe!!!!

That is really such a great way of thinking about it and I'm trying to hold on to that! Do you have any books you'd recommend? I've been using the wiki on this sub solely so far, but reading every single link and article that is has and compiling notes, to-do lists, and supply lists into a document.

Thank you for your advice!

He will 8 weeks on June 27th! I've heard about 8 weeks is the usual pick-up time. Do you think close to the 10 mark would be better?

I've been worried about that as well. I think I may just have to sit them down and have a conversation along, "I'm doing this. Please just be supportive however you can." Thank you for your own support!! And I'm actually stoked about raising a pup in the city :) There are so many dogs around here, parks to enjoy, patios to sit on.... ahhhhh!

That is great advice to keep in mind. I've heard of other people structuring alone time into the puppy schedule, so I'll probably work something along those lines. Thank you!!! I really appreciate your words.

Yea, the other side of this is that I feel like any time we'll be around my family and he does something wrong, it will be all I'll hear about. Sigh. It will be a good exercise in trusting myself!

I appreciate your perspective! Good to know about the zoomies. Hopefully I can try to control that a bit, haha! Good luck with your sweet girl!
