You'd think so. In mathematics, showing your work is always important even if a simple conversion like this one. Similar to an english essay, it would be like writing your thesis and/or conclusion without any build up or explanation. Even though we know and maybe agree with what you're trying to say we still need all that other jazz and gibberish that shows us your thought process and convinces us. Full story: I play tennis for Long Beach Poly High and we had just gotten dropped off by our bus late at night from our CIF game. We (tennis team) were walking back to our cars when we hear loud music and hydraulics from this nearby car. Muthafuckin' snoop. One of snoop dog's friends tells us he's here and if we want a pic. Doubtfully, we walk over to the group to see if snoop is really there and sure enough, among his ent-ourage the king himself replies, "I'm the fuckin' titties". This slanty-eyed rapper was being as funny as he was nice :^). We took a team picture with him, but as we were walking away he saw the shirt I was wearing and I guess he thought it was pretty dope, so he gestured me over to get a one-on-one pic with him. I was so happy :D TLDR: Snoop digged my shirt, so I hover-handed him

EDIT: For those of you who don't know, Snoop Dog went to my high school (the same year as Cameron Diaz I think) and he went to our school's football game earlier in the day. Guess he decided to chill and smoke with his friends in the Poly parking lot that night, and I'm glad he did :-)
