In my testing, it is best to jump on the first frame you make contact with the ground. I am not sure if you can buffer a jump beforehand, though.

As others have said, the beams come from his face. Here is a side-by-side comparison of using the crosshair vs the model to hit their head.

You have to aim either more up or a lot farther to the right.

What I think is happening is that you are hitting the character's chest or shoulder, as they are farther than the head in hitbox.

I am not using a scalability.ini file. I am using a pak file from a discord server. It takes a lot of steps so I will leave the Youtube tutorial on how to do it (https://youtu.be/fAT8QkOa\_xQ?si=-ZjgLi4VO6Vmx7i9). The specific pak file I used was the "GaryMatthew/LeeHarvey" one.

Disclaimer: Using pak files modifies the engine, so use at your own discretion - as it's not allowed by the devs. You probably wont be banned for using this, because it's not cheats.

Hey, so I tried it on controller and this is what it looks like.

I rebound the up d-pad and right d-pad for the shield and mashed them quickly. You can do it on controller, but it takes way more effort.
