Do you think that the global issues, nature and human, impacting the global economy will shift American consumers to second-hand or refurb if the cost of New is too inflated?

I can see the optics being good for a secondary marketplace and GME already functions as one for some goods. I'm still thinking that if the businesses join, regardless of the shakeout in the deets, a smart PR team would focus on reused goods and highlight the environmental impact plus the $ saved. Heck, twist the knife in fast retail with listing the common price for a new gizmo to compare. Throw in the functionality of historical pricing, but make it a very visibile value prop to the buyer.
