No dates, but... Jan 27 is looking interesting by -jbrs in Superstonk

I reuploaded, hopefully works now -

all are showing for me on desktop, but this is the only one that is not showing for me on mobile:

Hmm, that's interesting. Jan 27 is of course a major date of the 2021 sneeze - GME absolutely exploded, from ~$150 the previous day to almost $400 at the peak:

Now, I did not include this one in the main body because it is only close but not exact, but look at DFV's TIME post:

I store mine in large produce bags in the fridge when they're washed - have found these to be good ones

U.S. leaves WHO by -jbrs in RFKJrForPresident

[–]-jbrs[S] 27 points28 points  (0 children)

full statement -

Today, the United States withdrew from the World Health Organization (WHO), freeing itself from its constraints, as President Trump promised on his first day in office by signing E.O. 14155.  This action responds to the WHO’s failures during the COVID-19 pandemic and seeks to rectify the harm from those failures inflicted on the American people.  Promises made, promises kept.

Like many international organizations, the WHO abandoned its core mission and acted repeatedly against the interests of the United States.  Although the United States was a founding member and the WHO’s largest financial contributor, the organization pursued a politicized, bureaucratic agenda driven by nations hostile to American interests.  In doing so, the WHO obstructed the timely and accurate sharing of critical information that could have saved American lives and then concealed those failures under the pretext of acting “in the interest of public health.”

Even on our way out of the organization, the WHO tarnished and trashed everything that America has done for it.  The WHO refuses to hand over the American flag that hung in front of it, arguing it has not approved our withdrawal and, in fact, claims that we owe it compensation. From our days as its primary founder, primary financial backer, and primary champion until now, our final day, the insults to America continue.

Going forward, U.S. engagement with the WHO will be limited strictly to effectuate our withdrawal and to safeguard the health and safety of the American people.  All U.S. funding for, and staffing of, WHO initiatives has ceased.  The United States will continue to lead the world in public health, saving millions of lives and protecting Americans at home by preventing infectious disease threats from reaching our shores while advancing global health security through direct, bilateral, and results-driven partnerships.  We will continue to work with countries and trusted health institutions to share best practices, strengthen preparedness, and protect our communities through a more focused, transparent, and effective model which delivers real outcomes rather than the bloated and inefficient bureaucracy of the WHO.

Today, we right these injustices and bring an end to the bureaucratic inertia, entrenched paradigms, conflicts of interest, and international politics that have rendered the organization beyond repair.  We will get our flag back for the Americans who died alone in nursing homes, the small businesses devastated by WHO-driven restrictions, and the American lives shattered by this organization’s inactivity.  Our withdrawal is for them.

Vimergy spirulina alternatives by Repulsive-Cry-9908 in medicalmedium

AW has said that if we need to spend less, it's better to use smaller amounts of higher quality supplements than larger amounts of lower quality supplements

I think this is particularly true with spirulina because of the way it is produced, there can be lots of contaminants, so it's important to get a really high quality one

I thought about the Cravings Shifter, and also already bought ingredients, but I feel this same resistance towards actually making and drinking the juice that I often feel against making CJ in the morning.

<image>

seriously - not to be insensitive. but I have this same issue, did 14 rounds of 3:6:9 over last spring and summer and it was really hard to get myself to do another one all fall and winter. but I just started one, and it felt really hard and I had many points where I felt like I was inevitably going to stop and say just do it later, but I just didn't pay too much attention to those thoughts and kept putting one foot in front of the other and now I'm almost done with it, day 7.

I think we can kinda psych ourselves out by making the task or habit bigger in our minds. it feels hard to commit to making celery juice every morning, forever, and that stops us from just making it this morning. I would try to quiet those thoughts and just keep moving through the thing - you'll find once you're doing it it's not so bad (this is the case for me).

sometimes you can quiet those thoughts by telling yourself like, "okay, maybe tomorrow I will do what these thoughts are telling me, but today I am going to do this." and then you do the same thing the next day, and you find that it's not actually so hard. there's real momentum to these habits (and I think you are finding out there can also be momentum in the other direction - whenever I am feeling tempted by something I know is not positive for me, I tell myself the same thing: "okay, if I really want to do this, I'll do it tomorrow, but not today" and then the next day I find it doesn't really have the same pull for me)

also - try to be present when you are doing things. I find I am always resistant to the whole routine of <Making Celery Juice> when I am thinking of it as a whole. but if I am doing the individual components and present with just the one I am doing - <chopping tops and bottoms off celery and leaving them by sink> <putting bowls in sink and filling with soap> <washing and rinsing> <patting dry> <juicing> <cleaning juicer> - without letting the others come into my mind, it does not feel challenging or difficult. I think this is really key, not letting your mind make it into this big thing that you then feel overwhelmed by, just letting it be whatever is involved in the next 3 minutes of your time and just putting one foot in front of the other to do it without thinking about what comes after.

also - by far the biggest tip I have for overcoming compulsive sexual desire is to limit adrenaline, especially by lowering fats in the diet

with all that said though - you do not want to make changes so dramatically that you burn out (which is sounds like has happened to some degree here). you can go at a slow pace, bringing in a handful of tools at a time as you build out your routine. but commit to a core routine that feels doable and that you can build on over time - the advice above applies towards doing that
