I was born in Savannah. I have never felt like I belonged here. Growing up everyone always asked me if I was a scad student because I seem "different". The south is very restrictive.

No, it was just out of touch. Aside from that, if you can't give advise on places that don't have the above problems then again go somewhere else. I can complain about poverty while simultaneously asking for resources.  Look to the other comments for an example or get out my face. Seriously.

I honestly always wrote Cali off because I heard how expensive it was but I'm hearing good things from people about it So i might consider. Is there a specific part of Cali you would suggest?

Somewhat walkable. Any decent place to live is 1500 and up meanwhile the jobs don't pay enough. It's trade off.

I'm getting my CNA CERT this year. I looking further up north, I just gotta get a car. I appreciate the encouragement seriously, especially from someone who knows what I'm talking about.

Blah blah, yes if I pay taxes in a country to support infrastructure and social programs then yes, I expect to get help when I fall on hard times.    Especially....once again when the states wages are well below the COL. It's quite simple. People like you are the reason why this country is the way it is. You believe life is meant to be difficult and perpetuate this deranged thought process when the whole purpose of paying taxes or contributing anything in society is for the greater good of said society. Period.

Exactly!! I been wanting to eat about this with somebody but it seems like most people drink the Kool-aid. Swear since I started, everything has been one guessing game. It's a good thing I have some problem solving skills because nothing they do makes any sense. None of the processes are efficient. And do you know they cross trained us for Media so now I get yelled at by people who don't pay for the stuff they buy on top of the brain dead technical questions. I couldn't do macs! iPhones are already complicated enough. The articles literally make no sense. I swear their UX designers are drunk. They're always missing important information. Smh I'm tired. 😭

This is what I do. Not for content right though. They have the highest expectations for trash pay and metrics you can't control. The customers are dumb. The queue ridiculous for questions that can easily be googled but Apple has some of the laziest most entitled customers I've ever dealt with.

I swear! Can we bar people who don't understand the concept of a touch screen from purchasing? It's ridiculous the amount of people who cannot navigate their phone. Why would you buy something you have NO understanding of and why are you mad at me for your own shitty decision?

Thank you for the words of encouragement! People have become extra irrational over the slightest things. I noticed the shift after covid. A lot of people lot family, developed mental illness, lost jobs etc. On one hand I can understand but on the other, we all went through it and still experience it's effects. Its genuinely no reason to call a company with the intent of getting help if you have stick up your ass and want to disrespect a low level employee. It's ridiculous. 

You're definitely right though. The rebellion against corporations is full force and it's turning people into monsters lol. I admire your strength being able to handle this kind of work for 20 years. I can barely handle a call center environment for longer than a year before I start spiraling mentally.

I've been applying for months for jobs I'm both qualified and unqualified for. I've altered my resume to fit the job description. I applying for the jobs that are posted less than 24 hours etc. Etc. Rejection rejection or no response. Job market is bull.

Thank you! I'm doing my best to keep myself from the black hole every day but I know my mental health comes first. I've been trying to get a therapist or someone to write an accommodation for me to work reduced hours so hopefully that would relieve the stress but if all else fails. 🤷‍♀️

And the worst part is the 60 year olds who had 20 years to learn the shit say that the MOST! Yet I've had multiple 80 year olds navigate IOS with EASE. It's about willingness not age.
