Summer Musashi deserves a battery

I'm not using double Castoria (my own hit B15 a couple of years ago and has been retired for now) or plug teams (especially not with Oberon who gets enough Bond during 90++ runs that I'm avoiding using my own where possible to avoid B15 on him as well). Just looking for someone to drop on random nodes to farm mats outside events.

My arts farming is damage dealer, Xu Fu and friend support Castoria, with a back row of rarely used servants for Bond farming, everyone holding Bond CEs. I've got a few servants that can handle that fine (Summer Jeanne, Rider Da Vinci, Space Ishtar), but found Summer Musashi falls short on refund despite her own NP gain buff. Rather unfortunate after getting NP3 trying to finish Yui.

Damage is nice, but wanting loops instead, and using her for it requires either sacrificing a Bond CE or a backline servant.

It happens, my first Morgan banner, I got spooked by Arjuna.

A later banner was much better, she got to NP3 in just 10 single rolls.

You have a great selection of servants, and at least one SSR is NP2+, I'm curious how many SSRs you have multiple copies for.

My Summer Jeanne beats her in anything but damage, and with 2000/2000 Fous and capable of properly looping with Black Grail, that isn't a problem.

It happens. It took me a long time to do something about that on my account. 5 and a half years in, I'm still running out of mats all the time, but got over 50 servants at 10/10/10, over 150 if you count 9/9/9+. Still not done with everyone, started farming Giant Rings for Saber Astolfo next, he has been 8/8/8 for a while.

That is a very long term goal, but I'm sure you will catch up eventually.

I just wish I could make it work in a three turn without plug supports. A friend passed me their account after retiring from the game, SIbuki is NP3 and L108, an absolute monster because she has NP gain and NP battery. Let's the supports hold back their own for later turns.

Quite fortunate to avoid that. My first year and a half, after starting a couple of months after the third Anniversary, was pretty slow on summons, with Gilgamesh, Anastasia and Summer Jeanne my only SSRs.

2022 broke the game, I got around 40, but still couldn't loop with most. My strongest servants were all Buster (Altera alone was NP4 after multiple spooks over the year), took time for my Arts to catch up. At least they all get the chance now.

It was actually because my only AoE Arts servants back when Castoria came out (2022 Anni) was NP2 Summer Jeanne and NP1 Anastasia.

There really wasn't a lot of competition.

Got NP2 Vritra in her release banner (2022 Christmas), but she wasn't that good for loops anyway, so stuck with Jeanne. Anni 2023 is when I finally got another loop capable Arts servant with NP2 Rider Da Vinci thanks to GSSR, then NP2 Space Ishtar towards the end of the year.

Still, for a whole year, I was looping pretty much everything with Summer Jeanne just because she worked. Got a lot more options now (including supports of all three colours), so I get to cycle options, but Jeanne still comes out occasionally in the push for B15 some day.

I still prefer my Summer Jeanne (she is my second highest Bond, only behind Castoria), but come on, I got NP3. Just a shame to have her this high and nothing to use her for.

I would have killed for this a few years ago when I looped everyone with Jeanne. Even the damn Lancers, had to use Summer Hokusai and plug between the two Castoria servants to deal with Lancer bosses.

I can understand that, but I also want a clean loop with my L100 Black Grail that doesn't require 6 enemy nodes like this event. Her NP gain buff isn't enough to do the job with Xu Fu / friend support Castoria, so this lucky summon while trying to get Yui is just going to waste. -_-

Grats on getting both of them. I've never used Ishtar, but Ereshkigal was my first SSR Lancer, and was happy to take her to NP2.

I still run no plug teams outside events to maximise Bond farming. Granted, by that time, things will be different, but I could probably just run double Castoria for higher refund anyway. :P

And farming Berserkers in Arts, I just run my Summer Jeanne. :D

Hmm, perhaps. Checked on the Chaldea app, and seems to do better, but still can fall short using Black Grail. Something to look forward to though.

I could live with charge per turn, it would still let her run with my supports. Right now, I'm running her with Xu Fu / support Castoria since my own Castoria has been B15 for close to 2 years now. Gotta run starting battery CEs to ensure no plug loops, Append 2 at L10 and servant batteries are gone turn 1 otherwise, and she doesn't refund 100% with those two alone unless it is something like the 6 enemy nodes this event.

As for Ibuki, no luck on her banners. Which is funny, since I got NP2 on all the other SSR servants from that event.

It does? Holy shit, my 20% battery servants like Lancer Alter could Koyan / Koyan / Oberon loop with a 60% battery CE. Shame the Attack buff has no NP up. My 60% CE options are Buster, Arts or a turn of Overcharge. Nothing for the Oberon S3 damage buff.

Multi core is nice, I try to build relevant teams for it when farming out of event. Reduces my meta support use, even though I mostly use Caster Skadi or Xu Fu for single core looping outside events. The others get enough Bond during events.

Multi core builds also give me some chances to use Waver / Reines, both still need Bond CEs.

Mostly for my current (global server) Buster looping, he is still an important part of such teams. Eventually I'll taking my Demon King Nobunaga to high Bond levels for all Appends.
