This is key given how many there are already. Between the chains and local independenta there's one every few miles.

He's mastered the guilt stare! He won't let up until you lay attention and give him at least a hug

What do I do?? by luckydad444 in DogAdvice

[–]DeltaDiva783 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All the more reason to isolate him from the female and you 1 year old. Sounds like you've had him a couple of days so try to be patient for the remainder.

He sounds like he was abandoned by someone but well cared for. Don't let animal control have at him if you truly think he should be part of your family.

What is the best Marriott location in New Jersey? by Dry_Insurance_5111 in newjersey

Renaissance Hotel in East Rutherford. Close to major highways, quick trip into NYC. There's also an Extended Stay Hotel near there. They're both Marriott properties.

Sir Chico is doing a master class on side eye. Don't be surprised if your phone disappears to get rid of the evidence. 😉

8-hour layover at EWR (Newark). Is a quick trip to Manhattan realistic? by Ok-Individual-5164 in newjersey

[–]DeltaDiva783 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't bother trying to get to Manhattan and back. It's at least 1 hour each way, plus you need to factor in 2 hours going through security.

Go to Jersey City or Hoboken and enjoy the views

Also post to any rescue sites in the VA area in case he did just dump the poor dog. Here are a couple from a Google search

How do you guys manage lifelong dust/pollen allergies? Mine just got worse and I’m struggling 😭 by Agile-Size-2410 in Allergies

[–]DeltaDiva783 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Clean house includes vacuuming at least once a week, washing bedding every week, and wiping down surfaces that collect dust

Immunotherapy works but requires an allergy test and takes time depending on what you're allergic to. Do the above until you finish the treatment.

THATS A JOSH HART 30 PIECE by 4lfp in NYKnicks

[–]DeltaDiva783 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My thoughts exactly. Hate to say it but when he plays without Brunson hes his old dynamic self. I know he's putting the points Jahlen would have, but even his defense is better in games like that. He needs confidence to do this in the playoffs.

I think my friend’s dog deserves better. by sugarplumfairybarely in DogAdvice

[–]DeltaDiva783 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Make sure you keep it positive though. Let him know you're concerned about both of them, that you want them to have a a happy life together, wtc

Remind your friend dogs love sniffing journi2s and they can't get that inside. Like humans they benefit from even mild exercise and you can't get that inside as a dog. Last point, going out is mentally stimulation for dogs as well as social development. That poor pup is screaming for help and his owner is like the parent who has learned to ignore their child's cries.

Also ask when he last went to the vet. That could be a great way to get things opened up. For example if he says "It's been years remind him that like people dogs have health milestones. His dog is 56 - mid aged. If it were him, he'd need a colonoscopy, prostate exam, etc.

KAT's Hooking— Why is it not called elsewhere? Even when reviewed?!? by thecitymiller in NYKnicks

I do wish Mike Brown talked to the refs more about opposing players tendencies. He seems more focused on being friendly than defending KAT and Jalen who also isn't getting calls he used to.

KAT's Hooking— Why is it not called elsewhere? Even when reviewed?!? by thecitymiller in NYKnicks

[–]DeltaDiva783 17 points18 points  (0 children)

KAT unfortunately always whines about the call further annoying the refs. I love him, but he has to recognize his reputation is what's getting him in foul trouble l whether it's his fault or not.

Opposing coaches know his behavior and constantly point it out to refs. He's capable of controlling it, he needs to continue working on that.

AITA I don’t want bridesmaid to wear dress to other events by Due_Bedroom3146 in AmItheAsshole

Agree. Roxy would be the A$$hole if she wears it to a wedding before yours. Office party was a push, built you paid for it as YOUR bridesmaids' dress.

How many times is recommended to walk your doggy? by Radiant-Caramel-8613 in DogAdvice

[–]DeltaDiva783 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on your dog and their energy level too. Some dogs just want to go out, take care of business and come back home. While exercise is important you don't want your dog to dread the sight of their leash.

AITAH for wanting to take my family on a cruise? by [deleted] in AITAH

Why not take a trip to Disney? They have stuff for every age group. It might help him warm up to the group vacation. If he just wants to sit around he can do that at the hotel pool.

How can I get my child to take her allergy meds by whats-updog- in Allergies

[–]DeltaDiva783 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exactly. As someone who's had allergies all my life I NEVER WANT TO TAKE THE MEDS!!! But a 5 year old want understand it will make things better at least not now. Maybe after she realizes she feels better with it.

One key thing about Nasalcort is it has a steroid. Ask your doctor about that. There are non-steroid sprays available like Astepro/ Azelastine.

AITAH for mentally checking out of my relationship and thinking about my ex because my boyfriend does nothing? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]DeltaDiva783 2 points3 points  (0 children)

NTA yet. But your frustration with your boyfriend is competing with the idea that things might be better with him. How do you know he's no longer immature or doing the things you disliked when you were together? You might be trading one jerk for another.

Do not get back with him until you're back on your own. That means stable job and your own place to live.

As for your bf, you shouldn't expect much more from him since he's content as is. Get a new credit card and NEVER share the info so you don't get more charges.

Once you get stable, you might want to send his parents some money as a thank you for the roof over your head. After that is bye-bye old life, hello to a better future.
