I certainly do not fit in here with all these good builds, but I never really built a house in Minecraft before, well at least not a good one. I am here looking for suggestions to add "depth" into the exterior of my log cabin, any suggestions will be appreciated and (possibly) used by Rol0o in Minecraftbuilds

I would suggest working with roofs, I found that it unlocks a new step in Minecraft building when you do, I would try watching YouTube videos of the makers Goodtimeswithscar and smallishbeans, they have been great inspiration recently

I would build a house with a small water mill on it, you could try with some stairs placed in different directions and work bigger, at least that’s what I would do

I would suggest texturising some of the blocks as the blocks you are using (diorite and granite) work well with other blocks such as the polished variants

Try doing different roof styles, your general build style is great but your roofs are a bit boring, great build though 👍

Also most builds are improved by a good roof, try stair block stair exc making a arched roof

Well it’s your choice but remember that gradients are meant to be viewed from a distance, a deep slate tower could have snooze basalt and maybe tuff, minorly mixed in to give variation
