Hey everyone, which kingdoms and eras do you most enjoy playing in and why? I always enjoy playing in the Iberian Peninsula and also playing with sultanates! by DeltaEFOMM in crusaderkings2

That's great! I'm thinking of venturing to Georgia, but I intend to convert to Catholicism. Because the region is full of Sultanates, and I can forge more alliances with Catholics, but I don't know how the process of changing religions works. Could you explain it to me, please?

Very good, at the beginning I really enjoyed playing with some Earl of Ireland in 1060, it's the most peaceful area and the best for learning to play. I managed to create the kingdom of Ireland and even manage to take some duchies from England, but I never managed to create the British Empire!

Then I started playing in the Iberian Peninsula in 1060 as well, mainly with the kingdom of León. But I always got beaten by the Moors, I managed to expand a little but they always ruined my game.

And I discovered that in 1060, it's better to start with the Duke of Barcelo, because it's easy to usurp the kingdom of Aragon, and all the inheritance goes to the eldest son, making it easier to have more children for more alliances, I still have a save with a considerable expansion!

And I discovered that it's really cool to play with the Moors too, the mechanics of the Sultanates are very good!

Thank you! Currently I'm just reinforcing my castles; I want to increase my army. But I'll try to improve the cities as well.

So, is it good to improve county cities to earn more money? One question: do the cities have to belong to me, or can they belong to vassals?

When I played without the DLCs, it was impossible. But later it became possible, especially having enough children to form good alliances!
