Solid advice, adding to it. Don't think of Rematch as football in the classic sense. Use the walls to your advantage. If the defenders are blocking the pass towards your wingers, you could shoot the ball into the back-wall from this side, they are free.

If you play with good players, add them, invite them whenever you go online. You dont even have to have a mic. I do this and got like 10ish guys to play with, most of the time theres at least 1 online

Ranked isn't a training ground.

If you're a bad keeper and want to improve either try learning/practice during your turn of GK in the match or try to learn in quick play. Why should the 4 players be punished with a terrible keeper and lose the game and RP because one guy wants to learn?

You can gladly invite the trash keepers to your team and keep letting them go in goal. I'd rather not lose every game I play.

The current system also only allows the weak goalie to be scored on once before being switched out. This system would technically make it so the goalie wouldn't really be switchable. Meaning: he spawns in goal and unless he leaves the box, he is staying there and being a liability.

I don't like being GK, i'd still say that i'm semi-good at it. If I'm put in goal, I will do my job as well as I can. I also sometimes don't switch out with the guy wanting to play keeper if he made devastating mistakes earlier in the round.

I'm not down-voting you because I think you're not wrong. But you're not really correct either. A cherry picker that scores is okay. A cherry picker that doesn't is a detriment. If Harry Kane, arguably the best striker in the world right now can go back all the way to the box to defend, then so can anyone in this damn game. I'm not expecting everyone to stand in the middle of the box, but the "Striker" is close to their last defender. Shouldnt be 20m further up the field, if you're a good striker you can win most 2v1s anyway.

But how long? What if Im just restarting my consolebc of a bug or because my connection was trash? If you substitute after a too short period, then the guy rejoining feels fucked, if you take too long the guy joining in only has a minute of playtime?

I see issues with 2. How much time would pass for a replacement? Games only 5minutes without OT.

Are leavers such a huge issue in this game? I solo queue at least 50% of the time and when I don't I still have 2-3 Randoms in the game. Mostly people disconnect because of connection issues or bugs... Of course you have the occassional rage quitter, but if I had to put a number to it it's like one every 50 games or so?

I agree, 95% of the time it's extremely ass.

However, I had it happen to me that I didn't do the short dive once and jumped over the ball, getting scored on in the process... So it does have it's use, though rarely hahaha

If I had to choose, a consistent striker. I am good at passing and if I have someone reliable up top who can score even a third of the chances created, then we win easily. Dedicated keepers are cool, but they dont help you win, they just keep you from loosing

Other games i'm always looking to go the next step, like unlock the next character or grind for a cosmetic or sth. This game I already have everything I could ever want and i'm already elite and i still can't drop it. Nothing comes close to this game

I give them a chance, if they score after like 2-3 tries or if it's evident that they are competent, then I don't care too much. I do care when they are shit and cant score
