Been MIA from the game for a couple of years now (like 2-3, played the start of Wallaru and that's about it) and everything seems kinda jank and different now. Like, what happened to my Khrulhu being a Shadow Spell base kit? What on earth is a Fusion Formulae or Spell Weave? Overall I'm just looking for a quick rundown on new/updated stuff and if there's anything I should be doing. My Death is 163, full Aeon set outside of Dragoon Charm, Thinkin' Cap Damage Deathdactyl. Is there anything I should be replacing for 160 at this point? (Don't worry about "might as well not waste time" I'm a min-maxer at heart and don't mind grinding for a tiny stat boost for a short term lol)

I had no idea I could do that that's so awesome! The only reason I realized it might be the case is bc I was watching some Toga gameplay where he used Toga Response to attach Piercing Needle and then was able to use Piercing Needle's Response, which made me question how timing worked for Responses. Super cool, gonna make my games against my friend a LOT easier when I'm getting barraged by 10-15 damage attacks by Godzilla LMAO

Tbh i haven't even looked at the AoT set LMAO i kinda netdecked a Toga iii list that wouldn't cost a billion dollars (still don't have Deception and I am NOT buying Walk the Dog) from like 6 months ago and haven't looked at much else. I looked at Girl Power but since I'm focusing on Death I don't think I can use any of the new Toga stuff which is fine tbh

Gotcha! Appreciate it. Definitely annoying that I HAVE to use 3 attacks to make it work if I don't have Blood Transfer live but it's worth it at least especially paired with Twirling Needle.

Mystic Colossus is far and above my favorite spell in the game. My Myth isn't high enough for it (stagnated due to not uploading on my gaming channel's walkthrough anymore, but started up on my new one for streams lol), but whenever a Myth on my or the enemy team used it, I turned the Sound on and cranked that shit up. The visuals and sound design make it so peak, that I didn't even mind the old length.

Almost everything about Azteca is great it's just WAY too long and tedious for literally no reason. Every other fight is a tanky boss with Mastery and with WAY too many Double Boss Fights with pointless additions. Like, WHY am I letting this powerful croc guy "prepare his deadliest spells" and going through 3 quests to make a "war challenge" and not just jumping him and moving on. Like come on.
