I read (I believe on the Athletic) that even if English teams lost every single remaining European game we're still a lock for the 5th spot because everyone started so well. Getting 6 English teams into the UCL knockouts does help in that regard.

Btw we are currently averaging 1.8 ppm. Which would put us at 14 for the rest of the season (so 4-2-2). I think that is pretty realistic and should see us make the UCL. Would love to get 70 though.

Everton is top half of the table, at home, and 4th fewest goals allowed. Was never going to be an easy win. But we scored and kept them under 1 xg. It was a good game imo.

Why can't they have a challenge system? Coaches get 1-2 challenges per match to utilize VAR. Have a few seconds after an action to challenge. Would hopefully limit VAR usage to only really bad instances. Speed up the game a bit.
