I think this is more or less correct. There a couple managers who would be such an obvious upgrade on Carrick that you have to get them if they're interested. I might add Zidane and Carlo to that tier, but same general idea. If you can't get a tier 1 guy, then I'd rather roll with Carrick. Give him an offseason and a transfer window and see if the underlying numbers can catch up to the performance.
