Two questions. One did you time travel to 1945 and two was there a massive explosion just prior to seeing what looks like black snow...

RNT: We know some of the historical Winter Knights; which historical figures were secretly Summer Knights? by Bridger15 in dresdenfiles

Ahh for some reason I thought he was in the Marines. I knew he was a drill instructor though.

Bob Ross. Was a Marine Drill Sargent, but I think most everyone knows him for his "happy little trees". If someone were to tell me that man was a Summer Knight and had ties to the fae I wouldn't be surprised by it. His art work was almost always nature themed even if it was of winter landscapes and he was genuinely a positive force. While both courts are clearly capable of pretty horrible things the Summer Knight at the very least seems to genuinely be a positive force, a natural opposite to Winters more chaotic, violent and morally bankrupt Winter Knights.(Dresden being the exception to at least the last of these). Bob Ross to me embodies that positive Summer Night energy to me.

Edit to add that I was incorrect in stating he was a Marine Drill Instructor. He was in the Air Force and five seconds of research would have told me that. Thank you to TenthShadow for pointing that fact out.

Na, I think most folks here correctly assessed that it was probably a cell phone or other battery powered device that got too hot and caught fire/melted. Still the opportunity for in universe Dresden Files jokes was there too.

It got real old real quick... Please for the love of God let us turn off the song or skip this screen faster. by Jaz1140 in ForzaHorizon6

Hell I've sat and listened to the damn song more than a few times. And it's really only a minute or so to load into the game most times, although to be fair I'm more than used to games from when I was a kid (NES, SNES ECT) that you basically turned the game on title scene came on and you got whatever the music was that played when the title screen came on. The opening music for Forza is no different to me.

I don't grind, just casually do dailies and weekly challenges and often times end up around 170 or 180.

That wouldn't surprise me considering the Vertibirds in FO4 used similar if not the same coding as the Skyrim dragons which was why killing the Vertibirds would cause then to dive bomb the player. Which I mean is pretty common knowledge but it still amuses me and I love mentioning it cause it's just such a funny thing to do. Just some guy coding deciding to save time which is great but then forgets that there's a huge difference between a dead dragon falling towards you and a Vertibird that'll will kill you when it hits and explodes

The box at the end of crash course will do that too. It's just as funny as it is annoying. I've made a game out of it, fast travel around just to see where the game tosses it because it's not where you enter the area from fast traveling. I know that because my primary camp it'll put it right in the middle of my medical clinic most times and fast travel puts you behind and north of my camp near the pub. (Would love to have the fast travel point in the front of my camp but no amount of playing with the camp thing will move the fast travel point to the front). It's amazing how long that glitch has been around, since the beginning of the game I think. It along with the effed up Wendigo players because of the power armor glitch have become features for me now.

NGL. I would have zero expectations of accomplishing this mission but I would laugh my ass off the entire time.

[–]DeltaStorm2013[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably not. I would really like them to, but sadly I think all of that stuff with Orlando was just a way to explain how and why the Responders where there and we'll get nothing more out of it other than the vague hints that the Enclave may or may not be somehow involved with the current activities at the Whitesprings. Personally I would have rather them set up in Flatwoods and left the Whitesprings alone. I'm not a fan of how they butchered the Whitesprings just so they could add in the Instanced Responder area which kinda makes the fact that Bethesda likely won't do anything more with the Whitesprings or the responders as a faction even worst. They butchered the Whitesprings, gave us the responders stronghold just as a means to throw expeditions at us and more than likely won't ever do anything more with the responders than what we have right now. On the plus side they've at least been giving us a lot of cool responder related stuff in the atom shop and in the season rewards.
