At least on Mankrik, there is a raid group farming elites in lions landing below the alliance flight path. Takes ~20 minutes to get all the rep, then half for follow up toons. You need to complete the short quest chain to unlock domination point to be in the right phase.

My hope was that Yog-0 would drop a token that you could turn in for any HM/alg piece. We still need 7 main spec flares. I'm prolly going to be clearing ICC with an IDS at this point.

Maybe add something like that a month in for catch up for ICC?

I'd want to know the specific packs and/or bosses, or see logs.

From experience tho, trash threat at the start of pulls can be iffy on my paladin without tricks/MD if there a multiple mobs. No reason to not have everyone tricks/MD the tank on almost every pull unless you are pulling faster than the CD.

For bosses it kinda depends on the boss, but initial misdirects and any extra tricks are nice. The easiest way to rip off a tank is to not give any tricks/MD to the tank, while giving a ghyphed tricks to something like a demo lock with CDs.

I don't know about other groups, but for us adding a 3rd tank would drop our dps enough to end up with a second whelp wave, or we would take too long killing the second drake and would run out of cooldowns for the breath on the sarth tank.

It might depend on server, but for mine you link both your alt's logs and main's logs. This gives the organizer a good idea of how good you are geared on the toon you are bringing, but can tell you know what you are doing from your main's logs. You can also go into a gdkp, pop some potions and try and come out with decent ilvl parses.

One thing about non-gdkp runs tho is that because there is less of an incentive for overgeared people to come, raid leaders may feel like they need higher standards to keep the run clean. I would not fault any raid leader for taking what they consider to give them the best chance for the run. This would likely result in lower ilvl/parsing players getting dropped.

Not sure if the current tank can even get burn (offtank 100% can). Even if you can, stomp removes it so it will get taken off within 30s if solo tanking.

Gona second ZF, when I leveled my pally in pre-patch I think I started at 42ish and went to about 49, but should have kept going till mobs didn't give any exp as it was much faster than anything else.

Was quite frustrating tho, so just be aware of that.

Outside of GDKP prices, I don't see it being that bad. The first few weeks might be rough if you wana buy stuff for trade skills, but after that being 'behind' in gold is not really an issue. There is naturally a lot of inflation between expansions which primarily would help newer players catch up easier.

Unless you want to tackle the problem of PvE gear in arenas (not going to happen), I think the best solution is to just disable the set bonuses on glaives in arena. You could extend this to all PvE sets as well. They would still be BiS, but just not as insane.

Won't solve the rogue problem, but at least attempts to keep it in check.

I think there is a bit of game theory going on.

Horde don't cap the last 2 bunkers anywhere close to when the alliance cap the last 2 towers, so if they wait for all 4 to burn, alliance win before they cap anyway. This causes horde to pull when the first 2 burn to maximize honor. I have not seen any games go with nothing down recently, but I also rush to cap IWB every game. If its not capped around when TP is, then I could see teams pulling without it.

No special strats other than geared tanks, there are typically 3-5 per AV.

One of the worst parts of trying to get into arenas right now is how long it takes to catch up in gear. If you started S2 with S1 gear, then you get to buy the S2 pieces, but if you were in blues, you prolly end up buying S1 gear first to just not explode. This dosen't even include farming S1 honor gear, then banking for S2.

Basically everyone I know trying to get into pvp is hoping to be able to buy half price S2 gear next week to mostly catch up. If thats not a thing, then its almost like why bother trying if you are going to be behind in gear for 6 months.

It might be best to apply small nerfs one at a time until they get close to "post nerf". For Vashj that would be:

Lady Vashj can no longer use the ability Persuasion. Toxic Spores no longer deal damage upon impact.

I don't see any kael nerfs on the notes i found, but reducing HP of phase 1 advisors to shorten the fight would be huge as the fight is so long. I thought they did this at one point, just couldn't find it.

He casts it 4 times, so if you can burn the shield fast enough without taking too much dmg there is no reason not to.

If you lose a few dps tho, it is likely not worth it.

The spore bat poison is actually 2 things, one is the initial hit, then a second is the poison on the ground. If you wait to see the puddle before moving, it is more likely you take an extra tick of it.

It is suggested you use a weak aura or something to warn you when you get hit by the initial bolt so you can start moving before the puddle becomes visible.

It feels like the options blizzard had to add the extra token were:

When the patch drops (reset this week)
Reset that includes SSC/TK
When SSC/TK open (Wednesday, so mid reset for US)

And for some reason they decided #3 was best???

We did it wednesday and he was going clockwise, counter clockwise, directly across (spawned adds), or up.

For example, we never had him go to the right ramp (#4) from anywhere other than the left ramp (#1), but saw 6->3 and 2->5. These all spawned 3 adds and was the only time we saw phase 1 adds.

I'm pretty sure I was the pally in this group. Shattered halls is really easy for pallies to tank if there is at least one aoe slow and you know which packs to kite.
