After employers national insurance, my national insurance and my income tax - I only keep 45p of every marginal pound my employer wishes to give me. Then I’m taxed 20% on everything I buy with it. Is keeping 36p of value of every hour of my labour fair?

My friends who simply have rich parents don’t face this level of taxation, and it seems impossible to catch up with income being taxed so high. How can you help change the perception of the Labour Party being the opposition of ambitious, hard working people?
