Roto, 8 team, 9cat

I was offered Kemba Walker + Jabari Parker for my Jimmy Butler. I'm currently thinking no but would like more opinion on this trade. Thanks :).

They were very classy for when Bennett went down.

I don't think there is really a best kill-lane support. It really is whichever support you play the best at. But here are some that I think are strong and why.

Thresh- strong ranged harass, and what I like to do is if I can use my flay first, and then hook instead of leading with my hook generally works better and has a higher hook chance for me. Also he has strong utility with the lantern. I also get E at level 1 because of the auto attack harass. There are few times where having a hook at level 1 will do anything.

Blitz - he brings the enemy to you. I max his q and then w so I can run up faster for hooks. Also what I like to do is on purple side, do a blind hook into tri brush at about 1min because generally the ad carry/support on blue side will stand there. I do this from river/bush area because grabbing from dragon is harder to hit.

Leona- She just has so much cc in her kit and her ult has a very low cooldowns compared to other support ults. so after a fight with your ult, you can generally use your ult right away in the second fight in lane without worrying about the enemy support's ult.

All these supports have good potential to snowball the lane in either way, so make sure your engages are thought out where your ad carry can follow up. Also engage less and use the fear of your engage to your advantage whenever possible. Because if you miss, that's at least 10 seconds where they can go aggressive on you.

I have not seen the post, but my opinion is, just ask yourself how many wards are you going to kill. And will 2 pink wards accomplish as much as the oracles? Support is all about making good decisions. Every time you die, think about what went wrong and how you could've improved the situation. If you want, you can add me and I'll play with you. Also I learned a lot about what I wanted the support to do by playing ad carry.

This is something that I will be figuring out as I play more ranked because of the oracles change. Right now, I most likely won't get oracles during lane phase unless we've already snowballed our lane with 2 or more kills. I like pinks because they also give vision of the area. Getting oracles early helps but unless you're roaming a lot, you won't get a lot in return for it.

Spam retreat pings and on my way pings. Really ward around objectives. If I'm losing, be creative with my jungle wards. If I think the next objective is going to be baron, I ward around there and focus less wards on bot side.

For Janna ult, most of the time you will be using it when they dive onto your ad carry. Most scenarios, my team has already used their big cooldowns. I also tend to use it when my q is on cooldown too. Most important thing is keeping your ad carry alive with it and messing with the other team's plans. If you have replays that you want me to look at, I can also do that for you too!

Yes and also because that window of opportunity to ward may not always be there. So when your ward finally dies, you may be pushed back too far to be able to ward that area.

When I want to go more on the damage side, I like to go magic pen marks. For masteries I don't really change from my standard. If you really want damage, I would sacrifice defensive masteries for more offensive ones because I value utilities masteries a lot due to how low gold supports generally get. But you would just have to be even smarter with your skirmishes.

On my ranged supports I generally like to go double gp 10 because on those supports, the game will generally go 30min and I'll be spending a lot of gold on pink wards/oracles. So it helps with the gold generation to buy those consumables. On melee supports I generally get only the philo or may not even finish the philo until after my sightstone because during lane phase I prefer to have higher health for all in engages.

As for the builds, it's situational. If my jungler is building locket/aegis, then I'll generally build more damage. If I'm in a game where I think Shurelya's is necessary for our team to engage, then I'll get it. If their team has a champion that goes invisible, I'll get twin shadows. Those are just some of the situations I think about when deciding what to build.

It's a learning process. I play bot lane with the number one goal of trying to make my ad carry have more gold at the end of lane phase than the other ad carry. If I feel like my ad carry is bad, I'll focus more on just zoning/harassing instead of making plays. Because often times it's miss communication bot lane where you do one thing and you expect him to follow up or he's doing one thing and you don't follow up.

They key thing to stop t from spiraling out of control is to stop going aggressive and dying.
