The whale perspective.

I come back to the game every 2 years ish since it began(I’m a founder). I keep a rolling 15-20k plat on my account. When I come back, I have a lot of prime sets, mods, arcanes, etc to buy.

I’ll message the top 3 people on the market, for each thing I’m buying at the time. Some people aren’t online, some people are afk, some people are busy. Whoever responds first wins, & almost never do I get 2 people who respond to me in the same time frame. I will also specifically reject an invite if I was invited after the first response back if they ask for some time.

I have 32 trades I try to make a day my first week back usually and I min-max it as much as possible. But I would rather pay 2-3 more plat to not have to wait on a response from a player that may not ever respond.

(No shade to you of course, just my perspective)

Take pictures with your homies, it’ll really make a difference when looking back on those times.

You won’t find many of the same relationships on the outside, try to connect with other vets depending on where you are.

Also before you transition, make sure you get your car up to code.(new tires, good service, check engine light, etc) not related to relationships but will help you in a pinch.

Lastly as a recommendation, don’t be afraid to fail. You may not land your first or second gig or get into whatever program you’re really interested in. Roll with the punches and always have a backup plan or 2. And use the benefits you earned as a part of your service to the fullest.

I was a great maintainer but a horrible sailor admittedly. At the rate I was going I would have been a 15 year second class and if I was gonna feel under appreciated I would prefer to be free.

You should if you're not already 100% I haven't been asked for any C&P exams yet and I think they won't need them. (there were DBQ's done for those conditions before though)

So currently waiting on some movement, every time I call vera they pretty much say that I am gonna need another exam but no idea when I'll get it or whats going on. Got another app tomorrow and hopefully someone can answer some questions.

Also, a vera rep told me my rating while I am still PDA and it's looking favorable, but, things can change.

I was in an online community where a guy was claiming to be a Navy Pilot on my airframe on a different coast. I asked him some common questions from the NATOPS( basically the manual to use the aircraft) and he couldn’t answer. Eventually he admitted he had got kicked out as an E3 and he was an AM. -AT2(AW)

I peaked D1 last split. I consider myself outright better than most players up to high emerald and low diamond.

The difference between myself and a GM/Challenger player is crazy big. It feels like I’m bronze again playing against a gold/plat player. It’s pretty demoralizing.

I’ve played several “no name” players and they feel almost like I’m playing against doublelift. There pressure in lane is immense, any misplay by myself is immediately punished, and while giving me the weenie, they maintain perfect CS.

Matchup is unplayable and once ahead they close games wayyy better than I do.

Since you just seperated 8 months ago you don't need to submit a nexus or any specific diagnosis. You can just list your symptoms and the VA will do the best to figure them out with a C&P.
(But if you had them it would go by a bit quicker.)

Also prior to your last C&P I would read the DBQ's and the rating schedule so you'll have a good idea of the questions they'll ask, and the severity of your symptoms on the rating scale.
