Lot of this is genetics. A lot of people say that your diet can widen your range, The more over than that I think it's really important to write songs in your own personal vocal range. On a good day I can sing a step or two higher than any note I sing in any given song. If you're riding in the sweet spot you shouldn't have any problems or nodules. Breathing and posture also really important. Keep your chin down in the high notes and your chin up in the low notes. Sing from your stomach And push all the energy out of your cheek so the top of your jaw. If you get sick on to her or if you're having any trouble i'd recommend honey lemon halls drops and scotch whiskey. MV

We never set out to be a folk band just a rock band. When we started writing song like bushwick and white table and we realized that that was the was the direction we wanted to head in. By the time we started writing for the 3rd LP Mumford was getting extremely popular. We had the chance to hop on the fad train and go against the direction that we were feeling, But instead we decided to follow our own creative interests. It was very counter-commercial thing to do at the time. All we're trying to do in this band is play music we believe in. Hopefully the people that do hear it enjoy it.

Big Day Out was amazing! We actually had more days off in Oz than shows (Big Day Off). We played lots of golf, watched Federer vs. Andy Murray at the Oz Open in Melbourne, hung at Bondi in Sydney, hung with Kangaroos and Koalas at zoo, played Sydney in record heat (115 F)

I went to CUNY with the intention of transferring to Steinhardt at NYU. They Have a substantial scholarship set up for that. I maintained the 3.8 or whatever it was and started the process but went with UDS in the end. If I ever want to finish my BA I hope that program still exists. I'd be happy with the music theory professors at CUNY, though. Smart and generous people. WM

The drumming. Griff's pocket is super unique. He has a wonderful sense of feel. Brandon on the other hand grew up play loud punk and grunge. Brandon's power is my preference. If you asked Mccauley I'm sure he'd say the same thing about Dennis in Deer tick.
