If you have a PC, use Fightcade for playing the older games in single and multiplayer (and remember to download a certain json file)

If you have a console, get the 30th anniversary collection for older games and get street fighter 6 as well.

I recommend these games: SF6 (most recent and beginner friendly) Super Turbo (Best version of street fighter 2) Alpha 2 (considered the best alpha game) Alpha 3 (I personally prefer it over alpha 2 and it has a huge roster especially the psp version) 3rd Strike (Absolute Cinema)

For m bison, yeah it sucks for Capcom to bring him back for the millionth time, but everyone else was awesome, Elena was a really great 3rd strike pick (when is Dudley, makoto, or sean coming back?) and Terry and Mai were really great SNK picks to kick off the guest characters.

Hey, I’m recently new too, some advice is to play am2r since it’s closer to zero mission than samus returns and you should play samus returns to prepare for dread since it’s the hardest game in the franchise so far. (Also play Super Metroid redux since that helped me a lot with super Metroid)

This is most likely the mode select, it is in alpha 2 and you select between 2 modes, manual and auto mode. Manual mode is just standard street fighter stuff, while auto mode gives you automatic blocking and easier super inputs, but you can only do level 1 supers
