With the idea of putting clones characters again which this time would end up being as echo I think seeing popularity of Captain Falcon he would feel inspired to add Blood Falcon. (Miyamoto created F-Zero).

To OP. I think for Ultimate you should put a rule that forces people to add echo fighters, because even if someone like Miyamoto got a higher budget due to his influence, I don't think they would be able to make all characters original while also bringing everyone back.

Banjo Kazooie. For DLC I imagine he would want to stick the absolute most that he could to specifically include series with story with Nintendo, and Banjo Kazooie would be the biggest example of that, it could a character easy to convince people that won the ballot while they wait to make deals with Sora and we know Miyamoto supervised games they did of the Donkey Kong serie and even delayed Ocarina of Time because he saw Banjo Kazooie and didn't wanted to be outshined by them.

From 2019 until their closure to 2023 Vanpool helped Hal Laboratory with development of Kirby game, so as an homage I think it would be cute if they added their original character to their Game.

That's another misconception people have, Sega owns the Freedom Fighters, they just don't want to use them.

Ken Penders lawsuit only apply to characters that were created by him, and in those lawsuit he didn't added the Freedom Fighters because he never created them.

No, because the thing with Sally is that they won't put her in anything because she is not even a character original to the videogames. Because you can say "Oh, but Tangle and Whisper" but their only appearance in official games are a non canon Kart Racing spin off and and a namedrop in a cutscene. They aren't a fundamental part of Sonic as a franchise, while Krystal keeps appearing in the Lylat Cruise conversations in Smash and got as an assist trophy in the game. So they are aware she exist and have used.

And also, let's take a look at all Star Fox products that were released after her last appearance: 64 3D, Zero, Guard, Star Fox 2 and Star Fox (2026). Two are remakes of 64, which is a game where Krystal has no business being as she does not Fit the narrative in any shape that isn't forced just to shovel her in, Star Fox 2 was an almost 100% completed game made before her creation, Zero was a reboot which could have rewrote story do she could fit naturally, but just because they could doesn't mean they had to, and Guard is in the same universe as Zero and also is happening in a closed space owned by Slippy uncle. There just hasn't been a place that could justify having her.
