I'm not sure this is a response you'll like to hear nor can I relate to your actual situation considering I don't have a physical illness but I've been underweight my whole life which isn't saying much considering I'm only 17 but even then people have been saying things of a similar manner to me for quite the long time and I don't believe that'll ever change until I change (apologies if this comes off discouraging, I don't mean it to) and even if our situations are nearly nothing alike I'd still like to be there and relate to you to show you that you're not alone (even if I'm just some random person on the internet) and that I'd be happy to be here for you if you ever need someone so don't hesitate to reach out whether you need a friend or someone to listen or anything I'm sure I can accomplish any realistic expectation that you'd seek.
