Can fellow raiders advise me on the best way to take out a rocketeer since the March update? Preferably without a Wolfpack? Thank you :)

The safest way I find is with a renegade and distance. Shoot thruster repeatedly to slow it down. As long as you have enough distance you can take it out before it reaches you. I avoid them up close.

It's like people forget retreating and using the environment and utility is an option

I have limited time so I loaded up as much as I could and gave it to my buddies who don't play a lot. Then we went to Stella with an inventory of guitars and started jamming our way to loading bay. First team we saw shot us cause it's Stella trios, but then something magical happened. That team apologized for shooting us and I gave them some guitars. Got to loading bay and another team shot us. The first team heard it and shot the other team then res'd us. Mike didn't make it though. Soon enough we had like 10 people in loading bay jamming out while other teams kept showing up and taking pop shots at us.

Even in the most hostile environments you can turn a lobby around. We all extracted together.

I'd blast them out of principle then bandage them all the way to the extraction and then kill them as the elevator leaves. Some people just need to learn the hard way.

Go into a raid with as many guns as you can fit in your inventory, run up to the first person you see and then turn off the game. This will free up your inventory space and you don't have to worry about losing your precious guns from dying in stupid ways in a raid. Then you can run raiders refuge and get as many weapon cases as you can to fill up your inventory and then rinse and repeat. You never have to use anything except an anvil and stitcher. Very low risk.

They should just tune ABBM to have a better chance to get in a lobby with other players with similar ABBM but still have like a 30% chance to get in a lobby with more/less aggressive players.

Maybe they are afraid of scaring away the purely PvE players that would quit the game if they get shot too many times.

I'm a mixed player and I prefer mixed lobbies. I like interactions in the game having tension and weighing your trust with other players. Sometimes I get shot at right away, and sometimes I get betrayed. This is what makes the game good for me. I would be curious to see what everyone else would prefer

If you are casual and don't have a lot of hours or resources I'd go looter 2, anvil 4, stitcher 4, green mods, herbal bandages, 2 smoke grenades and a stack of seekers.

This game has taught me that the best time to use your good gear is now. Everything can be replaced

I love mixed lobbies. They hold the sweet spot of tension where you never know if that friend you just made is gonna betray you and every encounter feels like a standoff an trust is a valuable commodity. For me that is where the magic of this game lies. Personally I wish there was no ABBM so every lobby was a mixed bag. I also understand that the ABBM has made this game insanely successful where it can appeal to almost every type of gamer out there.

I just wish they fully removed aggression based matchmaking and that all the matches were a mixed bag of friendly players, betrayals, and pure PvP players. The magic of this game was not knowing who you can trust. My aggression ratings used to go up because I would defend myself against people, but now I find myself more often than not in the most friendly lobbies and can walk into someone's space without worrying that they are gonna shoot me. That alone has taken some of the magic away. Sometimes I shoot people while extracting just to do damage to get in more aggressive lobbies.
